The 2024–25 PVL All-Filipino Conference continued on Thursday at the PhilSports Arena with two intense matches. Here’s a recap of the action:

Choco Mucho Rallies Past Nxled in Five-Set Thriller

Someway, somehow, the Choco Mucho Flying Titans keep finding themselves in five-set thrillers.

Their match against the Nxled Chameleons was no difference as the Ube Girls rallied from a 1-2 deficit to nudge past Chameleons, 25-21, 23-25, 21-25, 25-23, 15-10.

Sisi Rondina’s 23-point outburst led the Flying Titans, who won their fourth five-setter—the most this 2024–25 PVL All-Filipino Conference. Isa Molde added 12, while Dindin Manabat and Maika Ortiz had 9 apiece. Royce Tubino and Cherry Nunag chipped in 7 each in the well-balanced effort.

EJ Laure nearly matched Rondina point for point as she finished with 20. Chiara Permentilla added 17 for the Chameleons, who won the spiking (62-59) and blocking (13-10) battles but still came up short in the end.

With its fifth straight win, Choco Mucho improved to 7-3 for fourth place in the standings. Nxled fell to 11th at 1-9.
