The 2024–25 PVL All-Filipino Conference continued on Tuesday with a double-header at PhilSports Arena. Here’s a recap of the action:
Creamline Dominates Nxled, Extends Unbeaten Run
The Creamline Cool Smashers proved too strong and too good for the Nxled Chameleons as they zoomed to a 25-12, 25-21, 25-19 victory for their sixth straight win in the 2024–25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
Bernadeth Pons and Tots Carlos paced Creamline’s balanced offense with 13 and 10 points, respectively. Alyssa Valdez fired seven markers, including the penultimate kill in the third set, while Pangs Panaga, Lorie Bernardo, Jema Galanza, and Be de Leon each had five points.
Jaycel delos Reyes had 7 points for the Chameleons, who were outgunned in spikes, 50-26; outblocked, 6-2; and outserved, 4-0. ycha Ebon, Lucille Almonte, and May Luna chipped in 6 markers apiece.
With the win, Creamline moved ahead of the Petro Gazz Angels for solo first in the standings. Nxled dropped to a league-worst 0-8 record.

PLDT Overcomes Cignal as Kim Kiana Dy Makes Emotional Return
The PLDT High Speed Hitters overcame some tense moments to upend sister team Cignal HD Spikers, 25-20, 25-21, 20-25, 25-22, and give Kim Kiana Dy a rousing welcome.
Savi Davison fired a game-high 24 points—her average for the tournament—to power the High Speed Hitters, who stumbled in the third set but recovered nicely to clinch the match in the fourth. Davison also had 12 excellent digs and 10 solid receptions. Erika Santos added with 15 points while Majoy Baron chipped in 10. Kiesha Bedonia, Dell Palomata, and Angge Alcantara combined for 17.
The match also saw Dy make a triumphant return to the taraflex, with PLDT coach Rald Ricafort fielding in his prized recruit in the fourth set. Dy last saw action in July 2023 and was out of commission for over 500 days due to an injury.
Vanie Gandler led the way for Cignal with 22 points, while Jackie Acuña and Ishie Lalongisip fired 14 and 12, respectively.
With the win, PLDT forced a three-way logjam at 5-3, while Cignal dropped to 5-2.

2024–25 PVL All-Filipino Conference: The Games Ahead
The 2024–25 PVL All-Filipino Conference continues on Thursday at the PhilSports Arena. The Chery Tiggo Crossovers will take on the Zus Coffee Thunderbelles in the first game. In the second game, the Farm Fresh Foxies will face off against the Galeries Tower Highrisers.
