The 2024–25 PVL All-Filipino Conference continued on Thursday with a double-header at PhilSports Arena. Here’s a recap of the action:
Zus Coffee Upends Chery Tiggo, Strengthens Bid for Playoffs
The Zus Coffee Thunderbelles are for real.
They proved as much in a command performance on Thursday, upending the Chery Tiggo Crossovers 25-22, 25-22, 23-25, 25-20 behind a ferocious attack game and eight aces.
Jovelyn Gonzaga, who also spearheaded Zus Coffee’s first win back in December, led the charge once more with a superb 20-point effort that included the game-winning kill. Chai Troncoso’s 18 points backstopped Gonzaga’s explosion, while Thea Gagate, Chinnie Arroyo, and Michelle Gamit chipped in 13, 12, and 10 respectively to help the Thunderbelles to back-to-back wins.
Ara Galang matched Gonzaga for game-high honors, but only Shaya Adorador (13) and Cess Robles (11) provided additional firepower for the Crossovers, who dropped to 5-3. Zus Coffee moved up to an even 4-4.

Trisha Tubu fired a career-high 33 points to help lead the Farm Fresh Foxies to a 28-26, 17-25, 25-19, 25-17 triumph over the Galeries Tower Highrisers.
Tubu punctuated her career game with back-to-back kills that sealed the match for the Foxies, who outgunned the Highrisers 57-42 in attacks. Alyssa Bertolano added 11 points, while Jolina dela Cruz and Rizza Cruz chipped in 10 and 8, respectively.
The Highrisers got solid performances from Ysa Jimenez (15 points), Andrea Marzan (10), France Ronquillo (9), Jewel Encarnacion (8), and Roselle Baliton (7), but could not find an answer to Tubu.
