He said, “I’m very happy because we won today because I expected that the Philippines will fight. After the first set, they would not just give up and we were ready for that. I’m very glad because my team was very good today, especially in block, and I think we deserve this win.”

Nakhon Ratchasima QminC of Thailand only needed an hour and 16 minutes to defeat the Creamline Cool Smashers, 25-15, 25-22, 25-16.

She said, “We’re gonna prepare for the semifinals, we have so many mistakes also [in this game] about our service, our reception. After this, we will go to practice and [prepare] for the semifinals. I feel like our game plan and us being able to go to practice and knowing what we want to come out and do, we established it early, and we swept them today.”
