The 2025 AVC Women’s Volleyball Nations Cup will be the first edition of the newly rebranded tournament formerly known as the AVC Women’s Challenge Cup. The tournament will be played from June 7-14 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Which Countries Are Competing in the 2025 AVC Women’s Volleyball Nations Cup?
The 11 countries participating in the 2025 AVC Women’s Volleyball Nations Cup are Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Philippines, Australia, India, Iran, Indonesia, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Mongolia, and New Zealand.
The countries are divided into two pools – Pool A (which consists of Vietnam, Australia, India, Hong Kong, and Chinese Taipei) and Pool B (which consists of Kazakhstan, Philippines, Iran, Indonesia, Mongolia, and New Zealand).
The top two teams of each pool will compete in the semifinals, while Pool A’s third and fourth placers and Pool B’s third to fifth placers will compete in the 5th-9th semifinals. The last-placed team in each pool will compete in the 10th-place match.
The teams would garner world ranking points for a chance to compete in the FIVB Volleyball Nations League. The winner of the tournament will also qualify for the 2026 Asian Championship.
