The 2025 FIVB Men’s Volleyball Championship is just around the corner, and the Alas Pilipinas Men’s National Team is training like there is no tomorrow. For the first time, the Philippines will host the international tournament, which will take place from September 12 to 28 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City and the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
In the pool phase, the 32 teams are divided into eight pools of four teams each, competing in a round-robin system. The top two teams from each pool will then advance to the direct elimination phase.
In the direct elimination phase, the top 16 teams will face each other in a knock-out stage – the winners will advance to the next stage, while the losers will be eliminated from the competition. The winner of the tournament will automatically qualify for the 2027 World Championship.
