2025 PVL Reinforced Conference: Farm Fresh Survives Petro Gazz, Chery Tiggo Outlasts Capital1

The 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference resumed on Tuesday at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan with a pair of thrilling matches—Farm Fresh Foxies vs. Petro Gazz Angels and Chery Tiggo Crossovers vs. Capital1 Solar Spikers. In the end, Farm Fresh booked a seat in the quarterfinals, while Chery Tiggo kept its own QF chase alive thanks to an explosive performance from their import, Yuni Batista.

Farm Fresh Survives Petro Gazz, Books Quarterfinal Seat

The Farm Fresh Foxies’ dream conference will reach at least the quarterfinals after they beat the Petro Gazz Angels, 25-21, 25-22, 21-25, 28-26, for their biggest win to date in this tourney.

Eli Rousseaux continued her fantastic showing this conference with 31 big points anchored on 27 kills, while Trisha Tubu proved to be a superb backup, firing 14 points of her own, including some crucial hits down the stretch. Ces Molina added 10 to go along with her 19 excellent digs and 11 receptions. Alohi Robins-Hardy, meanwhile, was a steadying force, tallying 21 excellent sets and outplaying counterpart Jules Tolentino.

Import Lindsey Vander Weide and Rem Palma carried the fight for the Angels with 16 apiece, with MJ Phillips and Ranya Musa chipping in 13 and 10, respectively.

Chery Tiggo Outlasts Capital1, Stays in QF Hunt

Chery Tiggo needed a win to stay in the hunt for a quarterfinal slot, and they delivered, pulling out a thrilling 27-25, 23-25, 25-12, 22-25, 15-13 marathon win over the suddenly potent Capital1 Solar Spikers.

Reinforcement Yuni Batista put up her best performance yet on Philippine soil, exploding for a tournament-best 41 markers on 40 kills to lead Chery Tiggo to the much-needed win. Ara Galang added 11, and Shaya Adorador chipped in 7. Mylene Paat, Renee Peñafiel, and Cza Carandang all had 6 points apiece.

Capital1’s Oleksandra Bytsenko delivered a dynamite performance herself, finishing with 34 big points in the loss. Bella Belen, meanwhile, continued her super rookie season with 22 of her own. The Bytsenko-Belen 1-2 punch, however, couldn’t quite overcome Chery Tiggo’s inspired outing.

Next Up in the PVL Reinforced Conference

The PVL Reinforced Conference resumes on Thursday, November 13, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The unbeaten Zus Coffee Thunderbelles and Cignal Super Spikers will open the curtain on a triple-header, followed by the Nxled Chameleons taking on the Akari Chargers. The Choco Mucho Flying Titans will look to keep their QF hopes alive later in the day when they take on sister team Creamline Cool Smashers.
