After the national team season, club volleyball is finally back, and the Premier Volleyball League is set to begin its 2025 Reinforced Conference on Tuesday, October 7. The 12 teams in the PVL will each have an import.
Defending Reinforced Conference champions Creamline Cool Smashers will try to defend their title with American Courtney Schwan as their import. Last year’s silver medalists, the Akari Changers, are also bringing American Annie Michem to the team.
Last year’s third-placers, Cignal HD Spikers, tapped Greek Eva Chantava to help them this conference, while fourth-placers PLDT High Speed Hitters will lean on Anastasiia Bavykina for the crown.
In the coaching staff, Godfrey Okumu will make his debut as head coach of the Galeries Tower Highrisers, replacing long-time head coach Lerma Giron. For the Petro Gazz Angels, Gary Van Sickle, Brooke’s father, will be calling the shots.
The 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference will happen from October 7 to November 27.
