In the last four editions of the SEA Games, the Philippine women’s national volleyball team has finished fourth, with Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia dominating the podium.
Now that Alas Pilipinas has competed in international tournaments this year alone, their hopes are up that they can settle for at least a bronze medal in this year’s edition.
The national team will be bannered by Alas Pilipinas mainstays Jia de Guzman, Dawn Macandili-Catindig, Maddie Madayag, Eya Laure, Dell Palomata, Alyssa Solomon, Bella Belen, Angel Canino, Vanie Gandler, and Justine Jazareno.
These veterans will be joined by rising stars Amie Provido, Julai Coronel, Mars Alba, Shaina Nitura, and Amie Provido. Jorge de Brito will coach the team.
The women’s volleyball tournament at the 2025 SEA Games will be held from December 10-19 at the Indoor Stadium Huamark in Bangkok.
