Who would’ve known that a change of scenery was all it took for Erika Santos to finally reach her full potential?

Santos had displayed flashes of brilliance back in her PLDT days, but it was with the HD Spikers where she truly broke out, earning the first major individual honor of her professional career. Becoming Cignal’s primary offensive option, she rose as the preliminary round’s top scorer with 87 points which came from 78 kills, six blocks, and three service aces, having a tiebreaker with Petro Gazz star, Myla Pablo, for the lead.
Efficiency was also part of her rise, as Santos topped the spiking chart with a 37.50 percent success rate, proving she can thrive as a main scoring weapon rather than just a secondary piece.
Alongside her, veterans Pablo and Alyssa Valdez of Creamline showed they can still stand toe-to-toe with the league’s younger generation after being named Best Outside Spikers of the preseason.

Pablo, 31, not only matched Santos in scoring with 87 points (76 attacks, 10 blocks, and one ace) but also finished sixth in spiking at 33.19 percent and fourth in blocking at 0.56 per set. The former league MVP added another milestone by clinching her fifth Best Outside Spiker award, her third since turning pro.

Valdez, 32, reaffirmed her reputation as a well-rounded force. She placed 10th in scoring with 69 points and earned a record ninth Best Outside Hitter citation. She also ranked seventh in spiking at 31.75 percent, ninth in service with 0.32 aces per set, and 10th in receiving with a 35.12 percent efficiency rating.

Farm Fresh’s rising star Trisha Tubu continued to cement her place as one of the league’s brightest opposite hitters, bagging her third Best Opposite Spiker award. She closed the tour as the fifth-best scorer with 77 points, third in spiking efficiency at 36.16 percent, and 10th in blocking with 0.50 per set.

In the middle, Jeanette Panaga of Creamline and Majoy Baron of PLDT were acknowledged for their net dominance, sharing the Best Middle Blocker honors.

Baron topped the blocking charts with 0.81 per set (13 total), while Panaga followed closely at 0.79 per set (15 blocks). It was Baron’s third time to win the award, while Panaga extended her legacy with a remarkable seventh career recognition.

Rounding out the winners were Creamline setter Kyle Negrito and PLDT libero Kath Arado, who both claimed their fourth career awards. Negrito once again proved her court vision, leading all playmakers with 6.74 excellent sets per frame and ranking fourth in aces with 0.42 per set.

Arado, on the other hand, reigned supreme on defense, finishing as the league’s No. 1 digger with 5.38 per set and best receiver with an impressive 63.16-percent efficiency.

And to end the awarding ceremony, Mika Reyes was named the Finals MVP as her PLDT High Speed Hitters claimed the title against the Chery Tiggo Crossovers.
