PBA Daily Metrics: Robert Bolick Delivers Explosive Fourth-Quarter Performance as NLEX Survives Titan Despite a Monster Double-Double from Calvin Abueva, While Scottie Thompson Leads Ginebra to an Important Win Over Phoenix

The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel (3-4) kept their playoff aspirations alive with a much-needed 102–93 win over the Phoenix Fuel Masters (2-6). Meanwhile, the NLEX Road Warriors (6-2) stepped up late and secured their fifth win in six games with an intense 92–83 victory over the Titan Ultra Giant Risers (2-6) on November 16.

Robert Lee Bolick NLX SG 34 PTS | 5 REB | 10 AST | 58.0 FPS

Bolick took control in the fourth, dropping 17 big points to power his team to the win. He’s been explosive in his last two games, averaging 31 points after putting up just 9.75 per game in his previous four. He also recorded his fourth 10-assist performance of the conference.

Calvin Abueva TIT PF 27 PTS | 15 REB  | 4 BLK | 58.0 FPS

Calvin continues to be a force inside with his third 25-point performance and his fifth-straight double-double. He made an even bigger impact on defense, posting a conference-high in blocks and 5 stocks.

Earl Scottie Thompson GIN SG 19 PTS  | 10 REB | 6 AST | 45.0 FPS

Scottie came out strong with 15 points in the first half. He rounded out his performance with his fifth straight double-digit points, his conference-high in rebounds, and is now averaging 8 assists over his last five outings.

John Bryle Bahio NLX PF 20 PTS | 12 REB | 3 AST | 43.9 FPS

JB notched his second 20-point game and his fourth double-double this tournament.

Ricci Paolo Rivero PHX SF 28 PTS | 4 REB | 4 AST | 42.8 FPS

Rivero led all scorers with a career-high performance and logged his third 20+ point game of the conference.

Jason Perkins PHX PF 17 PTS | 11 REB | 3 AST | 33.7 FPS

Big Perk finished a point above his conference-average and tallied 10 boards for the first time this tournament to record his first double-double.

Joshua Eugene Munzon TIT SG 19 PTS | 5 AST | 2 STL | 31.7 FPS

Munzon struggled from the field, converting just 3-of-15 attempts and going 0-of-4 from deep. However, he was excellent at the line, sinking 13-of-16. He finished with his third straight game scoring around the 20-point mark while also posting 2 stocks for the fourth consecutive outing.

Rhon Jay Abarrientos GIN PG 25 PTS | 3 REB | 4 AST | 30.6 FPS

RJ came up big off the bench, leading the team in scoring and setting a new conference-high in points. This also marked his second straight game with 24+ points.

Stephen Jeffrey Holt GIN 17 PTS | 9 REB | 3 AST | SG 30.3 FPS

Holt continues his strong stretch, averaging 20.3 points and 4 assists in his last three games.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT OF THE DAY:

Japeth Aguilar GIN C 11 PTS | 7 REB | 1 AST

Japeth totaled just 18 points in his last two games after averaging 20.6 points in a three-game stretch and also tallied his second fewest rebounding game this conference.
