The final two play dates of the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference will be critical as positional battles are still ongoing among the eight teams already assured of a quarterfinals seat:

All sorts of permutations and seeding combinations are still at play, with teams currently at the top of the standings—PLDT, Zus Coffee, and Farm Fresh—looking to keep their spots to secure potentially “easier” or more favorable matchups against squads at the bottom, like Capital1 and Cignal. And if current form is any indication, it’s looking like the High Speed Hitters, Foxies, and Thunderbelles will finish tied at 7-1 to lock up seeds 1 thru 3. Creamline, meanwhile, appears poised to secure the fourth seed, leaving Cignal, Petro Gazz, and Capital1 as the bottom three teams.
Then again, funnier things have happened in sports, which makes the final two play dates of the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference a must-watch as so much is still on the line.
Zus Coffee, Farm Fresh, and PLDT Dispute Top Seeds
Coming into today’s PVL triple-bill, Zus Coffee, Farm Fresh, and PLDT tote identical 6-1 records, with the High Speed Hitters technically at No. 1 at the moment with only six set losses to the Foxies’ seven and the Thunderbelles’ eight.
Of these three top teams, PLDT might have the most challenging final matchup as they’ll be going up against former champions Petro Gazz Angels. The Brooke Van Sickle-led Angels haven’t played true to form this conference, but they remain a talented and dangerous foe nonetheless. In contrast, it looks like Zus Coffee has a clearer path to No. 1 with a date against the winless Nxled Chameleons. Farm Fresh, meanwhile, might be in for a tough battle with Chery Tiggo, who’s fighting for a better seeding as well.
Wins for Zus Coffee, Farm Fresh, and PLDT will guarantee them a top three seeding. A loss, on the other hand, could lead to complications if Creamline beats Cignal as it would mean a tie at 6-2. Depending on the tiebreakers, a loss could send the loser sliding down to fourth.
One Loss Could Mean a Step Down
Teams at the lower half of the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference standings are also battling it out for positioning, with Capital1, for instance, hoping to move up with a commanding win combined with either or all of Cignal, Akari, and Petro Gazz losing decisively. Fortunately for the Solar Spikers, they have a great chance to pull out at least a sweep of a win as they’ll be taking on winless Galeries Tower. Akari, meanwhile, will look to firm up their hold of the fifth seed as they tussle with also-ran Choco Mucho.
Cignal and Petro Gazz, meanwhile, will need to be at their best as they will be going up against Creamline and PLDT, respectively. A loss coupled with a Capital1 victory could be disastrous for both Cignal and Petro Gazz as they face the prospect of sliding down to No. 8 and a possible showdown with the top seed.
