Here are the top performers on January 12 and the stats to highlight their impact:

BEST PLAYER OF THE DAY:

Giannis Antetokounmpo MIL PF 31 PTS | 8 REB  | 11 AST | 64.1 FPS (vs. DEN)

The superstar forward continues to be a force offensively, logging his 15th 30-point game of the year—and his fifth in the last six—to rise to seventh in the league in scoring at 29.2 points per game. He narrowly missed his first triple-double, but he still walked away with his 14th double-double of the season.

BREAKOUT:

Donte DiVincenzo MIN SG 19 PTS | 9 REB | 7 AST | 50.3 FPS (vs. SAS)

The sharpshooting guard delivered strong value across five key categories, highlighted by his 13th game of the season with at least 18 points and his eighth game with five or more threes. Despite some inconsistency, he remained a very capable contributor, ranking 17th in the league in total steals and fifth in total three-pointers.

SLEEPER:

Royce O’Neale PHX SF 19 PTS | 7 REB | 2 STL | 36.4 FPS (vs. WAS)

Over the past few games, O’Neale has been consistently productive, posting four straight double-digit scoring games, six consecutive outings with at least five rebounds, and knocking down at least four threes in four straight games.

ELITE ASSET:

Stephen Curry GSW PG 31 PTS | 3 REB | 5 AST | 39.0 FPS (vs. ATL)

Despite hitting just 3 of his 11 attempts from deep, Curry still finished with his 13th 30-point outing of the season. He’s now scored at least 26 points in eight-straight games and continues to be the best shooter in the league with a total of 141 made threes this season.

CATEGORY SPECIALIST:

Tim Hardaway Jr. DEN SG 25 PTS | 2 REB | 2 STL | 32.4 FPS (vs. MIL)

THJ had a brilliant scoring performance, recording his eighth 20-point game of the season and his seventh with five made three-pointers to lead the shorthanded Nuggets to a big win. He’s one of the top bench scorers in the league this season, ranking inside the top five.

PLAYER TO WATCH:

Nickeil Alexander-Walker ATL SG 24 PTS | 2 AST | 3 STL | 37.4 FPS (vs. GSW)

The guard has been an excellent addition for the Hawks this season, averaging a career-best 20.6 points along with 3.6 rebounds, 3.0 threes, and 3.3 assists per game. NAW kept it rolling today with his 22nd 20-point outing of the year. With Young’s departure, he should be poised for an even bigger role on offense.

STREAMER:

Collin Murray-Boyles TOR PF 17 PTS | 15 REB | 3 AST | 55.5 FPS (vs. PHI)

CMB posted an elite double-double while also standing out defensively with 3 steals and 3 blocks, becoming the first player in franchise history to record these numbers in a game. He’s been impressive on defense, averaging 3.3 stocks over his last eight games, and should continue to excel with Poeltl still out.

FLOPPER:

Brandin Podziemski GSW SG 3 PTS | 1 AST | 1 STL | 8.7 FPS (vs. ATL)

Podziemski has been on a rough patch lately and struggled again today, posting his worst game of the season and scoring no more than six points for the fourth time in his last five games.
