Week 13 of the NBA calendar has arrived, and we’re back to share some players likely on the waiver wire of your respective leagues that could be of some help to you. Do note that this list is based on Yahoo’s stats and numbers, so don’t be surprised if the rostered percentage is different on your fantasy platform of choice.
Tim Hardaway Jr., DEN, SG/SF
Leading this list is the Denver Nuggets’ Tim Hardaway Jr. He was part of our Week 11 list as a speculative add because of the many injuries the team suffered, especially losing Nikola Jokic. Now, he’s proven that his offensive stats are not a flash in the pan, with averages of 16.5 points and 3.7 three-pointers made at 44% field goal shooting over 11 games. Like last time, don’t expect him to do much for the other stats, but he’s a perfect option to increase your points and 3 PM output.
Caleb Love, POR, SG
If THJ’s been plucked in your league, another name you could hunt for is Caleb Love. The Portland Trail Blazers rookie has been tearing it up since late December with averages of 16.3 points on about 46.8 percent field goal shooting and 3.4 rebounds. He’s by no means an unmissable talent, but for managers who’ve been lacking a strong presence in the points category, Love might be the answer. He’s only rostered in 11% of leagues, so why not give him a try?
Moussa Diabate, CHA, C
Let’s head to the Charlotte Hornets next and look at Moussa Diabate. With Ryan Kalkbrenner considered out indefinitely, Diabate received a bump in minutes from 24 to 32, and he’s been making the most out of it. Playing in eight of the games that Kalkbrenner was sidelined, he logged 8.7 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 2.4 assists. Charlotte plays four games this week, so Diabate (rostered in 21% of leagues) could provide a significant boost in rebounds.
Collin Murray-Boyles, TOR, PF/C
Last but not least is Collin Murray-Boyles of the Toronto Raptors. Managers who own Jakob Poeltl have had the worst luck this season due to his back issues, but the solution is going for CMB. While Poeltl was out, the rookie big man has been holding down the fort with averages of 8 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 1.3 blocks. Despite a Poeltl return seemingly on the horizon, the Raptors have a four-game week, making CMB an excellent streamer.
