The Creamline Cool Smashers continued to assert their mastery over their sister team, defeating the Choco Mucho Flying Titans once again, 27-25, 17-25, 25-21, 25-15, in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Tuesday, February 10.
After a tightly contested opening set that saw the Cool Smashers draw first blood, the Flying Titans quickly responded and claimed the second set to level the match. Momentum then swung back in Creamline’s favor, a shift the Cool Smashers carried through the third and into the fourth set.
Creamline Breaks Through
In the fourth frame, Creamline built an early 9-4 cushion before Eya Laure was forced to step out following a collision with Tia Andaya. Without Laure on the court, the Cool Smashers maintained control and closed out the match to secure their first win of the conference.
“Siyempre, number one, masaya kami dahil nakakuha kami ng unang panalo this conference. Hopefully magtuloy-tuloy at makuha namin rhythm namin sa paglalaro at alam naman natin na ang dami naman nang bumalik sa amin,” said head coach Sherwin Meneses.
Bernadeth Pons led Creamline with 19 points on 17 attacks and 2 aces, while Pangs Panaga anchored the net with 12 points built on 5 attacks, 4 blocks, and 3 aces. Tots Carlos and Jema Galanza added 11 points each.
For Choco Mucho, Laure finished as the top scorer with 19 points before exiting the match. Sisi Rondina was limited to 15 points, all from attacks, while Lorraine Pecaña contributed 10 points on 5 attacks and 5 blocks.
