The Farm Fresh Foxies reached new heights on Tuesday, advancing to their first-ever semifinals after sweeping the Nxled Chameleons, 25-17, 25-20, 25-19, in the play-in round of the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the Filoil Centre.
Nxled showed signs of life in the third set, taking an early 8-6 lead. But Farm Fresh quickly flipped the script, unleashing a decisive 10-1 run to seize control, 16-9.
From there, the Foxies never looked back, with Trisha Tubu sealing the historic win with a spike.
“Yes, today was a good game. Thank you so much to the Nxled team. My whole team played well,” said head coach Koji Tsuzurabara. “This is Farm Fresh’s first time in the semifinals. Everyone is experiencing this for the first time.”
Farm Fresh on Challenger Mode
Despite the breakthrough, Tsuzurabara emphasized that his team remains in challenger mode. “But I don’t know about the next game. We are always the challengers, so we will do our best. I want us to create—no, we must create—a new history for Farm Fresh. I appreciate the Nxled team. Thank you so much,” he added.
It was a balanced offensive effort for the Foxies, with Tubu leading the way with 12 points built on 10 attacks and 2 blocks. Ces Molina added 10 points and 11 excellent receptions, while Ara Galang and Riri Meneses combined for 16 points.
