The Philippine Men’s National Football Team (PMNFT) will be without several of its key players, most notably Bjørn Kristensen, after its official lineup for the upcoming ASEAN Hyundai Cup 2026 was announced.
As posted by the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) on Facebook, the PMNFT will once again rely on young leader Sandro Reyes as it takes the field at New Clark City Stadium before flying to Laos and Malaysia for the tournament.

Bjørn Kristensen Still Out for the Philippines
For the second straight tournament, fellow young star Bjørn Kristensen is a no-show for the Philippines.
Ever since the Tri-Nation Friendlies that happened last June, the 24-year-old hasn’t suited up for the national team.
Also not taking part in the ASEAN Hyundai Cup 2026 are some of the team’s key players like the Tabinas brothers, Jefferson and Paul, and midfielder Manny Ott.
Other players like Zico Bailey, Gerrit Holtmann, and Raphael Obermair are also out.
With them gone, the Philippines must figure out a way to be among the top two teams in their group in order to advance to the knockout stage.
