The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is stepping into its 10th season with a fresh identity and a chance to reflect on how far Philippine volleyball has come.
On Wednesday, August 26, the league unveiled its new logo ahead of the milestone campaign, which officially begins on October 10, 2026.
A New Identity for a Growing Sport
The redesign arrives at a time when volleyball has become one of the country’s most popular sporting attractions, with the PVL playing a central role in bringing the game closer to fans nationwide.
At the heart of the new logo are three ideas: strength, depth, and stability. The silver element represents the league’s growth and stability over the past decade, while also pointing to the increasing depth of talent in Philippine volleyball. Blue retains the PVL’s familiar identity, symbolizing unity and the league’s continued push to advance the sport.
Ten Years of Growth
The new look also serves as a marker of how much has changed since the PVL began its journey. Over the past decade, the league has provided a professional stage for athletes to compete, develop, and build their careers. It has opened doors for younger players to make their mark alongside established stars, helping create a stronger volleyball ecosystem that extends from the athletes on the court to the fans who fill arenas and follow the league beyond game days.
The PVL’s rise has coincided with volleyball’s surge in popularity across the Philippines. Rivalries have intensified, players have become household names, and more young athletes now see a clear professional pathway to pursue. For many of today’s stars, the PVL has become more than just another competition—it is a cornerstone of their careers and a platform for connecting with the growing Filipino volleyball community.
Looking Ahead
With its 10th season approaching, the league is eager to build on that momentum. Sports Vision, the PVL’s organizer, is preparing a season‑long celebration of the league’s journey, marking a decade of growth and achievement.
After 10 years, the PVL’s new look arrives at a pivotal moment. Philippine volleyball is bigger than ever, and the league now has another opportunity to help shape the sport’s next direction.
