The 2024–25 PVL All-Filipino Conference continued on Saturday with a double-header at PhilSports Arena. Here’s what happened:
Chery Tiggo Overcomes Farm Fresh, Climbs to Third Place
Cess Robles and Ara Galang combined for 41 big points to lead the Chery Tiggo Crossovers to a 21-25, 25-14, 25-17, 25-17 triumph over the Farm Fresh Foxies.
Robles finished with 21 while Galang had 20 as the Crossovers bucked a slow start to dominate the Foxies. Cza Carandang added 12 points, while Shaya Adorador and Set Rodriguez combined for 12 more.
Trisha Tubu was a long bright spot for Farm Fresh with 15 points. Unfortunately, the Foxies were outgunned in attacks (61-50) while committing more unforced errors (22).
With the win, Chery Tiggo jumped from seventh in the standings to fourth with a 5-3 record. Farm Fresh dropped to 3-4.

Zus Coffee Dominates Capital1, Snaps Three-Game Skid
The Zus Coffee Thunderbelles drew strong games from Chai Troncoso, Chinnie Arroy, Michelle Gamit, Thea Gagate and Jovelyn Gonzaga to dominate the Capita1 Solar Spikers, 31-29, 25-15, 25-15, in 89 minutes.
Arroyo delivered 15 points and 12 excellent digs for the Thunderbelles, while Troncoso and Gamit fired 12 apiece. Gagate and Gonzaga had 8 and 7, respectively. Jorelle Singh was the lone double-digit scorer for Capital1 with her 10 markers.
The two teams actually engaged in a thrilling first set, with Capital1 matching Zus Coffee point for point—until falling short in the end. But, but the second set, the Thunderbelles began asserting their will and took over the match.
With the win, Zus Coffee snapped a three-game losing streak that saw the team lose two five-setters.

The 2024–25 PVL All-Filipino Conference continues on Tuesday with a twin bill at the PhilSports Arena. The Creamline Cool Smashers will stake their unbeaten record against the Nxled Chameleons in the first game. The Cignal HD Spikers will try to keep pace atop the standings when they take on the PLDT High Speed Hitters.
