It was another feisty Tuesday at the PhilSports Arena as the 2024–25 PVL All-Filipino Conference continued with another twin bill. Here’s a recap of the action:
PLDT Sweeps Farm Fresh Behind Another Savi Davison Masterpiece
Savi Davison once again turned in a spectacular performance to lead the PLDT High Speed Hitters to a convincing 25-20, 25-17, 25-19 victory over the Farm Fresh Foxies.
Davison fired a game-high 26 points for PLDT, including the final four that sealed the match. It was her third straight 20-point outing. Rookie setter Angge Alcantara provided a spark for the High Speed Hitters, finishing with 12 excellent sets on top of 4 points. Mika Reyes Erika Santos, Majoy Baron, and Fiola Ceballos also chipped in, combining for 27 markers.
Farm Fresh, in contrast, had no answer to PLDT’s firepower as ace Trisha Tubu was held to just 9 points.
With the win, PLDT improved to 6-3 to secure solo third in the standings. Farm Fresh, on the other hand, stayed at ninth with a 4-5 record.

Petro Gazz Repels Zus Coffee, Regains Top Spot
The Petro Gazz Angels bucked the inspired play of the Zus Coffee Thunderbelles en route to a hard-fought 25-20, 24-26, 28-26, 25-20, triumph—their sixth in a row.
It wasn’t easy for sure for the Angels, as the Thunderbelles engaged them in extended second and third sets and refused to give an inch throughout the match. In the end, the Petro Gazz prevailed thanks in large part to another sensational game from Brooke Van Sickle, who finished with a game-high 27 points to go along her 15 excellent digs. Myla Pablo added 22, including several in key moments.
Kate Santiago spearheaded Zus Coffee’s spirited showing with 21 big points, with Chai Troncoso adding 19. Jovelyn Gonzaga and Michelle Gamit chipped in 8 and 7, respectively.
With the win, Petro Gazz moved up to first place in the standings with a 7-1 record. Zus Coffee stayed at the eighth spot with a 4-5 record.
