The Miami Heat (27-30) mounted a furious surge late in the third quarter and avenged their previous loss to the Atlanta Hawks (27-32), securing a decisive 131-109 victory on February 27.

Atlanta Hawks Top Performers:

Onyeka Okongwu 13 PTS | 9 REB | 2 BLK | 35.3 FPS

OO’s production has been solid since the break, consistently scoring in double digits with efficient shooting from the field. He hasn’t crossed the 20-point mark and has struggled with inefficiency at the line, but his overall impact has more than made up for it with reliable rebounding numbers and good value in the defensive end.

Dyson Daniels 18 PTS | 5 REB | 5 AST | 34.5 FPS

Daniels’ production in multiple areas has been up-and-down since the break. Still, he’s doing enough to remain a strong asset in category leagues. He also continues to put impressive numbers in defense, racking up a staggering 13 steals over his last three games. However, his outside shot and free-throw struggles continue to hold him back from reaching another level.

Caris LeVert 17 PTS | 2 AST | 2 STL | 27.4 FPS

LeVert scored in double digits for the third time in four games since the break, this time with improved shooting percentages. He’s a strong offensive option who can also contribute in other areas, but his consistency will be put to test with a tough schedule ahead.

Terrence Mann 13 PTS | 4 REB | 4 AST | 25.8 FPS

Mann has seen increased minutes against the Heat and has taken advantage, averaging 14 points with good shooting from the field and from long range while also putting up some rebounds and assists. But his production needs to be more consistent to be considered for rostering.

Georges Niang 7 PTS | 4 REB | 1 BLK | 16.8 FPS

Niang’s offensive numbers have declined after his 27-point explosion. But he continues to play a significant role off the bench for the team and has been a good contributor for rebounds and occasional defensive stats.

Miami Heat Top Performers:

Tyler Herro 24 PTS | 10 AST | 3 STL | 48.4 FPS

Herro shook off a brutal 0-for-9 shooting from three, bouncing back with his second 20+ point, 10+ assist game since the break. He’s been stellar offensively in three of his last four outings, including a 40-point explosion where he went 13-for-14 from the line.

Bam Adebayo 20 PTS | 9-12 FG | 9 REB | 36.3 FPS

Bam delivered a highly efficient performance today despite managing a calf problem. He’s been a steady scorer this month, hitting 18+ points in nine out of ten games. His elite rebounding and solid playmaking remain strengths, but his production has been less since the break.

Duncan Robinson 24 PTS | 5 REB | 6 AST | 36.0 FPS

Robinson has hit a slump in his last two games but bounced back strong today. He’s a key part of the rotation and a capable shooter, but his consistency has been an issue this month, with just three double-digit scoring performances.

Davion Mitchell 20 PTS | 6 AST | 2 STL | 33.0 FPS

Mitchell is primarily a defensive player but showcased his offensive game today with a flawless 5-for-5 shooting from deep. He should be a good streaming option for steals and can chip in with assists as a starter, but his inconsistency continues to put a dent to his value.

Kel’el Ware 12 PTS | 8 REB | 2 STL | 29.6 FPS

Ware has been shooting well lately and has also found his range from three today but hasn’t really scored that much. However, he’s consistently made an impact with shot-blocking, solid rebounding, and recent improvements as a playmaker.

Biggest Disappointment of the Game:

Trae Young 17 PTS | 1-8 3PT | 8 AST

Young started hot after the break, scoring 38 points with elite efficiency in his first two games. However, his shooting has nosedived since, going just 1-for-13 from deep in back-to-back games against the Heat. He’s struggled in all three matchups against them this season, averaging just 13 points.
