The Cleveland Cavaliers (49-10) overcame a cold start and rallied from 22 down, stunning the Boston Celtics (42-18) with a 123-116 victory on March 1.

Cleveland Cavaliers Top Performers:

Donovan Mitchell 41 PTS | 13-26 FG | 5 AST | 53.1 FPS

Mitchell has been on a tear, averaging 31 points in four of his last five games. His efficiency from the field, strong shooting from long-range, productive performance at the free throw line with a favorable upcoming schedule, puts him in perfect position to sustain or even elevate his numbers.

Evan Mobley 17 PTS | 12 REB | 1 BLK | 36.9 FPS

Mobley continues to thrive in his role, scoring 17+ points in each of his last five games while also delivering good value in field-goal percentage, rebounds, and blocks. He’s already a capable fantasy asset but his growing impact on both ends of the floor is steadily putting him into an elite status.

Darius Garland 20 PTS | 3 REB | 7 AST | 33.1 FPS

DG missed his last two games but maintained his solid output, scoring 30+ fantasy points in 16 of his last 18 games. He continues to shine in his position, showing improved playmaking with fewer turnovers, and has scored reliably with just one off game this month.

De’Andre Hunter 12 PTS | 3-3 3PT | 5 REB | 21.5 FPS

Hunter has been a reliable scoring option, hitting double figures in his last four games with impressive efficiency, including hitting multiple threes in three of them. However, his limited contributions in other areas make him a tough player to roster.

Ty Jerome 8 PTS | 4 REB | 3 AST | 20.3 FPS

Jerome had been a spark on offense, dropping 19 or more points on efficient shooting in his last three games. He couldn’t keep his streak going today, but he did maintain his contributions in rebounds, assists, and steals.

Boston Celtics Top Performers:

Jayson Tatum 46 PTS | 16 REB | 9 AST | 84.7 FPS

JT has been a well-rounded force since the break, coming close to triple-doubles three times and nearly becoming just the eighth player to record a 50-point triple-double. Offensively, his scoring has been a bit inconsistent, alternating between 25+ point performances and sub-20 outings. His three-point efficiency has been a concern, but he’s still knocking down multiple threes. He also recorded three blocks today, though defense isn’t his strongest suit.

Jaylen Brown 37 PTS | 7-10 FT | 5 REB | 43.0 FPS

JB missed a game from an injury but picked up right where he left off, scoring his seventh 30-point game of the season after three straight 20+ point performances. His shooting has been more efficient, making double-digit field goals in his last three games and also regaining his rhythm from deep. However, his contributions outside of scoring remain limited.

Derrick White 16 PTS | 5 AST | 3 STL | 32.7 FPS

White has been a strong offensive option since the break, scoring 16+ points with efficient shooting and nearly averaging 5 threes in five games. He’s also elevated his impact on both ends of the floor lately with improved playmaking and stronger blocking numbers.

Al Horford 5 PTS | 7 REB | 2 AST | 15.4 FPS

Horford has taken on a bigger role lately with key starters sidelined, but it’s not expected to continue. He remains an important piece off the bench for the team, but his impact has been largely inconsistent this season.

Luke Kornet 5 REB | 1 STL | 2 BLK | 14.0 FPS

Kornet has been making an impact defensively this month but consistency and lack of playing time remains a concern.

Biggest Disappointment of the Game:

Jarrett Allen 10 PTS | 4 REB | 1 STL

Allen’s output has been on a decline lately, averaging just 10 points and 6 rebounds after consistently putting up strong double-doubles in the past weeks.
