Celtics Best Lakers in Rivalry Game
Jayson Tatum fired 40 points on top of 12 rebounds, and 8 assists, while Jaylen Brown had 31 points and 6 rebounds to power the Boston Celtics (46-18) to a 111-101 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers (40-22) at TD Garden.
Al Horford added 14 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals to help the Celtics break the Lakers’ eight-game winning run. Luka Doncic led the Purple and Gold with 34 points and 8 rebounds. LeBron James had 34 points, 14 rebounds, and 9 assists but left midway through the fourth due to a strained hamstring.

Warriors Fight Off Pistons as Steph Curry Reaches Milestone
Steph Curry scored 32 points to surpass 25,000 for his career to lead the Golden State Warriors (36-28) to hard-fought 115-110 victory over the Detroit Pistons (35-29) at Chase Center.
Jimmy Butler chipped in 26 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists, while Draymond Green had 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists and hit the go-ahead triple to put the Dubs ahead for good after Cade Cunningham’s lay-in gave the Pistons a 108-107 lead with 50 seconds remaining. Cunningham finished with 31 points, while Malik Beasley added 17 off the bench.

Bulls Cool Heat Behind Josh Giddey’s Triple-Double
Josh Giddey had 26 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists to help the Chicago Bulls (26-36) to a 114-109 triumph over the Miami Heat (29-34) at Kaseya Center. Coby White added 21 points, while Zach Collins continued his strong play with 18 points and 15 rebounds.
Andrew Wiggins and Bam Adebayo had 22 apiece for the Heat, while Tyler Herro put up 21 markers, 8 boards, and 6 dimes. However, the Heat went cold in the fourth, scoring only 20 points while giving up 36 to the Bulls.

Magic Hold Off Bucks to Break Five-Game Skid
Paolo Banchero had 29 points and 6 boards, Cole Anthony fired 22, and Franz Wagner added 18 points and 7 rebounds to lift the Orlando Magic (30-35) to a 111-109 win over the Milwaukee Bucks (36-26) at Fiserv Forum.
The Magic, who also got 11 points from Anthony Black off the bench were ahead 90-74 going to the fourth but had to fend off the Bucks’ spirited rally in the final 12 minutes. Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee with 37 points and 11 rebounds
