The Portland Trail Blazers (33-43) withstood a furious fourth-quarter charge from the Atlanta Hawks (36-39) and pulled away with a commanding 127-113 victory on April 2.

Atlanta Hawks Top Performers:

Trae Young 29 PTS | 15 AST | 2 STL | 58.3 FPS

Young came out strong today, racking up 10 assists by halftime and concluding the game with his fifth consecutive standout playmaking display. This effort brings him just 12 assists away from breaking the franchise record for assists in a season, currently held by Doc Rivers. Even with some inconsistency in his offensive game, his reliable free-throw shooting has propelled him to this scoring level three times in his last five games, and he should have no trouble maintaining this level of production in the upcoming games this week.

Dyson Daniels 22 PTS | 10 REB | 3 STL | 44.5 FPS

Daniels got off to a strong start in the first half, making all eight of his attempts and reaching double digits in scoring. While his offensive production slowed in the second half, he still made a significant impact on defense, recording his seventh double-digit rebound game of the season and finishing with five stocks. He also has continued to be a dominant force defensively, with 11 games this month in which he registered three or more steals.

Onyeka Okongwu 12 PTS | 6 REB | 3 AST | 25.7 FPS

OO has been a consistent double-double threat throughout the past month, but couldn’t sustain that level of performance today. He also made significant contributions on the defensive in that span though his impact has been quieter as of late.

Despite that, he remains a valuable asset for his position.

Vit Krejci 13 PTS | 7 REB | 2 AST | 24.4 FPS

Krejci has been a key offensive contributor off the bench in two of the last three games, posting double-digit scoring efforts in both, including hitting 3+ three-pointers and adding solid rebounding numbers. However, his minutes remain uncertain with the team still battling for a better playoff position.

Caris LeVert 10 PTS | 1 STL | 1 BLK | 15.4 FPS

LeVert has struggled offensively recently, particularly with his three-point shooting. However, with a pair of back-to-back games this week, there’s a chance he’ll be given a larger offensive role and could potentially bounce back. He has the ability to deliver strong scoring performances and contribute across multiple areas, so it’s worth keeping an eye on his situation.

Portland Trailblazers Top Performers:

Deni Avdija 32 PTS | 15 REB | 10 AST | 64.0 FPS

Deni put on a show again, recording up his sixth 30+ point game, his seventh 10+ rebound outing and his second 10-assist performance since last month. He had a slow start to the year but has completely flipped the script in the past months, racking up major numbers in many areas. While some inconsistency is expected, he’s established himself as an elite fantasy asset and should remain a top contributor for the rest of the season.

Shaedon Sharpe 33 PTS | 10 REB | 2 STL | 53.5 FPS

Sharpe has been on a roll offensively, scoring 22+ points and grabbing 6+ rebounds in four of his past five games. He took it a step further today with his fourth 30-point game and second 10-rebound performance of the season. He’s also expected to maintain his starting spot for the remainder of the games and should have no problem continuing this level of performance.

Dalano Banton 11 PTS | 7 REB | 4 BLK | 37.9 FPS

Banton got the start today with both Simons and Henderson unavailable. While he didn’t have his best offensive game, he made up for it with quality peripheral stats. He should be able to maintain this level of play with favorable matchups ahead, but only if he continues to start.

Matisse Thybulle 8 PTS | 5 AST | 5 STL | 33.3 FPS

Thybulle played significant minutes off the bench with several players unavailable and made the most of the opportunity, turning in a well-rounded performance, highlighted by a standout effort in steals. He should continue to be a key part of the rotation in the team’s next three games this week and is a strong roster option for rebounds and defense.

Toumani Camara 18 PTS | 2 STL | 1 BLK | 29.9 FPS

Camara didn’t do much overall, but he had a solid two-way performance, recording a highly efficient scoring output while also contributing strongly on defense. He’s been very effective offensively in his last two games and continues to make strides from three-point range. He’s also been delivering modest numbers in multiple areas and has continued to excel with solid steal numbers this month.

Biggest Disappointment of the Game:

Zacharrie Risacher 9 PTS | 3 REB | 2 BLK |

Risacher was coming off a career-high performance, scoring 36 points in their win against the Bucks. However, he couldn’t carry that momentum into today’s game, struggling throughout and finishing in single digits. His scoring has taken a disappointing downturn, with noticeable hit-or-miss performances recently, following a promising six-game stretch where he consistently scored 14+ points. However, given the pattern, he should have a strong bounce-back performance tomorrow against the Mavs.
