National University Lady Bulldogs team captain Bella Belen joined the likes of Alyssa Valdez and Monica Aleta as the players who won three Most Valuable Player awards in the UAAP Women’s Volleyball Tournament.
Belen finished the elimination round with 96.23 Statistical Points, ahead of runner-up Shaina Nitura, who won the Rookie of the Year Award with 74.26 Statistical Points. De La Salle University teammates Shevana Laput and Angel Canino, with 69.66 and 66.10 Statistical Points, respectively, took third and fourth place in the MVP race.
Rou Eastern University Lady Tamaraw Gerzel Mary Petallo, who rounded out the MVP race with 57.091 points.

Belen played her best game in their 23-25, 25-17, 25-18, 22-25, 15-9 victory against the University of Santo Tomas Golden Tigresses in their last game in the eliminations.
Belen scored 26 points in 24 attacks and two blocks with 17 excellent digs and 13 excellent receptions.

At the end of the elimination round, Belen led the best spiker list with 37.76% efficiency, closely followed by Shevana Laput of the De La Salle University with 37.43% and teammate Alyssa Solomon with 37.02%.

Belen recorded 21 excellent receptions in the National University Lady Bulldogs’ stunning defeat against the Adamson University Lady Falcons in the second round of eliminations, 23-25, 25-15, 26-28, 22-25.
In that game, Belen scored 19 points in 17 attacks and two aces, and nine excellent digs.

In the Best Receiver category, Belen placed third with 44.44% efficiency, beating the likes of Bernadett Pepito of the University of Santo Tomas, Fiona Arroyo of the Ateneo de Manila University, and teammate Shaira Mae Jardio.

Aside from her offensive prowess, Belen also showed her defensive side as she recorded 17 excellent digs in two games against the University of Santo Tomas Golden Tigresses.
In their first-round matchup, Belen scored 19 points with 17 excellent digs and 15 excellent receptions. In their second-round game, the three-time MVP scored 26 points with 17 excellent digs and 13 excellent receptions.
