After their historic silver medal finish in the 2025 AVC Women’s Volleyball Nations Cup, the Alas Pilipinas women’s volleyball team will compete in the 2025 VTV International Women’s Volleyball Cup. The tournament will be played from June 28 to July 5 in Vietnam.
The eight teams participating in the tournament are Vietnam, Vietnam under-21 team, Australia, Chinese Taipei, Sichuan Wuliangchun from China, defending champions Korabelka from Russia, Thailand under-21 team, and Alas Pilipinas.
The countries are divided into two pools with four countries each – Pool A consists of Vietnam, Sichuan Wuliangchun, Australia, and the Philippines, while Pool B consists of the Vietnam under-21 team, Thailand under-21 team, Korabelka, and Chinese Taipei.
The teams will compete in a single round-robin, where the top two teams from each pool qualify for the semifinals. The bottom two teams of each pool will play in the 5th-8th semifinals.
The results of the match will not affect the countries’ standings in the FIVB.
