On Sep. 11, the main event of the evening saw Biñan Tatak Gel dominate the Iloilo United Royals with a 97-67 victory, marking their 7th consecutive win of the season. Homegrown celebrity Ronnie Alonte made a career night this season, scoring 11 points all in the second half and seeing significant playing time for the first time. Meanwhile, despite his 1 point, without a single field goal attempt, Marc Pingris was a terrifying man on defense after recording 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks.

Mark Nonoy, who was just drafted 10th overall in the PBA in July, also made an impact by scoring 23 points for Iloilo, although his efforts weren’t enough to overcome Biñan’s dominance.

However, it was Villarias who went home with the Best Player of the Game award after finishing with 15 points, 2 rebounds, an assist, a steal, and a block.
