Thunderbelles Records Their 1st Win
ZUS Coffee finally got its breakthrough win, prevailing over Capital1 Solar Spikers in another gripping five-setter.
The Thunderbelles, coming off a close loss to Akari, made sure to finish strong this time. Fiola Ceballos sparked a late push with a clutch off-the-block hit and a timely ace that broke a 10-all tie in the decider. Veteran Jovelyn Gonzaga followed with a sharp attack, and a Capital1 error brought up match point. Though Sydney Niegos briefly delayed the finish, Gonzaga sealed the win for ZUS after two hours and 27 minutes.

The Solar Spikers are now 0-4 in the preseason sitting dead last at the #6 seed in Pool B.
It is not yet confirmed but it won’t be a surprise if key players from the team like their #1 overall pick in this year’s draft, Bella Belen, and Leila Cruz who just spent time with Alas Pilipinas will all play in their next game on July 15.
