2025 Recap: 3 Wins – 1 Draw – 0 Losses

The PMFT only has 2 more games in their schedule, along with their current record this 2025 of 3 wins, 1 draw, and 0 losses.

In order for the Philippines to solidify their slot in participating in the 2027 AFC Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia, they must sweep their games against the Maldives and against Tajikistan in their home turf on March 31, 2026.

Last March 25, they were able to beat the Maldives with a score of 4-1.

But that was in the Philippine soil; this time, the Filipinos must find a way not to be distracted by the passionate fans of Malé.

On June 10, Tajikistan drew their match against the Philippines, 2-2, in a heated game where a lot of players from both squads were given 15 yellow cards for inappropriate behavior.

Against Timor Leste last October 9, the Philippine team dominated the game all throughout with the final score of 4-1.

Then, their last qualifier match last October 14 against the same Timor Leste squad, they have yet again shown their supremacy as they flipped the script in 2nd half to get the victory, 3-1.
