Alex Eala is reportedly set to participate in 3 straight WTA Asian tournaments from October to November.

From Japan, to (back again) in China, and then in Hong Kong

After competing in 3 tournaments in China, which were: Jingshan, Suzhou and Wuhan. Eala is now looking to showcase more of her skill in the Asian Region.

Japan Women’s Open in Osaka – October 13 to 19

As first reported after her Set 3 loss in the Round 1 of the Wuhan Open Qualifiers, the 20-year-old is now eyeing to make a mark in Japan as she plays against the hometown hero, Naomi Osaka.

Guangzhou Open in China – October 20 to 26

This will be Eala’s 4th stint in China, with now that she’s at her best world ranking at No. 54, the Filipina is certainly ready to make a revenge tour.

Hong Kong Tennis Open – October 27 to November 2

Probably the hardest tournament out of the 3, since in the player list, Alex is about to face:

Up Against Asia’s and the Best of the World

Now that Eala is at her career best No. 54, everyone is making her a target. Now, it’s not just her against the best of Asia but the best of the world.

We saw Alex get defeated by Indonesia’s Janice Tjen but imagine the storylines and news online of Eala getting a surprising win against Naomi in front of her home crowd?

Or what about getting a Set 3 win against Leylah Fernandez?!

But perhaps the most exciting matchup that she may possibly have again is against the fellow 20-year-old Maya Joint, whom she suffered a defeat in her 1st ever WTA Professional Finals match.

Regardless of the futuristic scenarios, one thing is for sure: the Philippines has now made a legacy in the sport of Tennis.
