The Cignal Super Spikers continued their strong start to the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference, dispatching the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in four sets, 25-20, 16-25, 25-19, 25-18, at the FilOil Centre in San Juan on Thursday, February 5.

After dropping the second set, the Super Spikers quickly regrouped and leaned on the chemistry built through sustained training and continuity. In the fourth set, Choco Mucho threatened to close the gap at 17-20, but a timely block by Rose Doria-Aquino on Lorraine Pecaña sparked a 3-0 run that stretched Cignal’s lead to 23-17.

Sisi Rondina briefly stopped the run, but a service error by Tia Andaya, followed by a Jewel Encarnacion kill, sealed the victory, pushing the Super Spikers to a 2-0 record at the top of the standings.

“Kaming sobrang blessed and thankful sa dalawang panalo and mas magtatrabaho pa kami. I think inspiration para sa amin ‘to para mas magtrabaho pa,” said Cignal head coach Shaq Delos Santos. “Mas magpo-focus kami sa process kung ano pa ‘yung kailangan, ano pa ‘yung kulang, ‘yung pag-recover din ng bawat isa, maingatan talaga and maging healthy ‘yung mga players namin, ‘yung buong team, so ayun lang.”
