Vanie Gandler once again showed why she remains a key piece of the Alas Pilipinas Women’s National Volleyball Team, leading the Cignal Super Spikers to a hard-earned four-set win over the Farm Fresh Foxies, 25-17, 26-24, 20-25, 30-28, in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Tuesday, February 10.
The match reached its most intense stretch in the fourth set, with Farm Fresh reaching match point first at 24-22 in an attempt to force a deciding fifth frame. Gandler responded immediately, delivering a clutch attack that sparked a 3-0 run and swung momentum back to Cignal, 25-24.

From there, both teams traded points deep into extended play until Riri Meneses committed a costly service error. Tin Tiamzon then capped the rally with a soft push, sealing the Super Spikers’ gritty victory.
“I think siyempre ‘yung respect din namin sa kalaban kasi grabe ‘yung kilala naman namin sila, and puro beteranong players, so siyempre expect din namin na talagang ganun ‘yung mangyayari sa game,” said head coach Shaq delos Santos after the match.
“But, ang good thing siguro nag-improve kami doon sa aspect na paano namin i-handle ‘yung ganoong situation like sa crucial moment. So, ayun, thank you Lord, panalo kami.”
Gandler finished with 25 points on 24 attacks and 1 ace, while also contributing heavily on defense with 15 excellent receptions and 14 excellent digs. Erika Santos added 15 points built on 13 attacks and 2 blocks.
For Farm Fresh, Trisha Tubu paced the Foxies with 19 points on 18 attacks. Ces Molina followed with 18 points, while Royse Tubino chipped in 14 in a losing effort.
