01 October 2025 Manila, Philippines — Daily Fantasy, the Philippines’ first officially licensed fantasy sports provider, has brought together about 100 grandparents and their grandchildren for a day of basketball and community building through the “Intergenerational Basketball” program in partnership with HOOPBUS, a global non-profit organization uplifting communities through basketball.
Daily Fantasy and HOOPBUS gave PHVORA Basketball Court in Manila, Las piñas, a makeover, as well as hosted 3×3 games and free throw shooting sessions with former Gilas Pilipinas and TNT Tropang 5G head coach Chot Reyes.
“Today felt new and fun—a refreshing experience where I could connect with both the young and the young at heart,” said Reyes. Reyes also revealed Jimmy Alapag, Allan Caidic, Alvin Patrimonio, Danny Seigle, and Jun Mar Fajardo as his top five players of all-time.
The initiative aims to utilize basketball to connect generations and uplift local communities in the Philippines.
