2026 PVL: Jennifer Nierva Signs with Creamline as Cool Smashers Look to Bounce Back After Disappointing Season

Veteran libero Jennifer Nierva is set to begin a new chapter in her professional career after transferring to the Creamline Cool Smashers. The move follows the dissolution of her former team, the Chery Tiggo Crossovers.

Nierva’s entry comes at an opportune time as the multi-titled club continues to fine-tune its roster ahead of the 2026 PVL season. Creamline is looking to bounce back strongly after its historic title runs came to an end in 2025.

The Cool Smashers are coming off a disappointing 2024–25 season by their standards, as they failed to win a title for the first time in franchise history. Creamline also missed the podium for the first time ever when it finished sixth in the Reinforced Conference—the squad’s worst finish during their time in the PVL.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Cool Smashers moved on from long-time players Rizza Mandapat and Pau Soriano, along with Michelle Morente and Mafe Galanza. Veteran Rhea Dimaculangan, meanwhile, announced her retirement on Thursday.

Nierva Brings Dependable Defense, Consistency to Creamline

A product of the National University Bulldogs program, Nierva was part of the dynasty that dominated the UAAP from the juniors level through the collegiate ranks. She has since established herself as one of the most dependable defensive players in the league.

Over the years, Nierva has built a reputation for consistency, strong court awareness, and steady floor defense. Joining a Creamline side known for discipline and structure, she brings added veteran composure to the backcourt.

Wearing pink and white, Nierva is expected to share libero duties with Kyla Atienza, Denden Lazaro-Revilla, Ella de Jesus, and Aleiah Torres.
