Rebanse Fam! Kamusta Na?! The NBA slate this week is a mixed bag with uneven games, sneaky soft matchups, and some brutal ones that will test your start/sit game. One thing you should do this week is CONSERVE YOUR ADDS so you can easily take action if a Trade drops and make someone in your FA a must add. 9 teams get a solid four games this week, which of course makes them prime territory for category boosters and streamers. Standouts are the Minnesota Timberwolves, Memphis Grizzlies, and Indiana Pacers with the most positive schedules. The Wolves feast on softer foes like the Pelicans, the Pacers hit the Jazz, and the Grizzlies double-dip against the Trail Blazers. Those squads’ stars (Anthony Edwards, JJJ, and Pascal Siakam) should pile up stats. On the flip side, the Houston Rockets drew the nightmare slate: Pacers, Celtics, Hornets, Thunder; these are tough matchups all around, so temper expectations from mid-level players. Road alert for the Philadelphia 76ers, and they will kick off the week with a B2,B so watch out as this could easily turn into a three-game week for Embiid.
20 teams sit at three games, which is the new normal this week, making decisions trickier than ever. You need to prioritize volume wisely! Top-tier three-gamers: The Atlanta Hawks have a dream run with the Heat, Jazz, and then the Hornets. The Orlando Magic snag the Jazz, too, for easy offense, while the Milwaukee Bucks get the Bulls and Pelicans. On the flip side, Rough ones: Oklahoma City Thunder face Magic, Spurs, Rockets, which is a tough D-heavy slate. The Dallas Mavericks get the Celtics plus the Spurs twice. Home court lovers: Bucks, Trail Blazers, Kings, Pistons, and Raptors keep all three at home. Jazz, Nuggets, and Pelicans grind it all on the road.
The Cavs are down to two games, and both are roadies vs Clippers and the Kings. Not ideal volume, but not a disaster either. Let us see if the extra days will allow Schroder and Ellis to adjust to their new roles in Cleveland.
