It’s the time of the year again Mga Papi! The 2025-26 NBA season tips off on October 22, and the first week is going to start with a bang! Last season’s finals champion and runner-up will face off, rookie debuts for Cooper Flagg and Dylan Harper, and a lot of star power that is eager to get ahead in the standings as early as possible. Thus, Week 1 (Oct. 21-26) is everybody’s first chance to flex our beloved fantasy squad, but take note that not every team has a good schedule and matchup. Let’s take a good look and identify the good and the bad for this week.
NBA Week 1 Fantasy Schedule Breakdown: Best and Worst Teams to Stream
All 24 Teams are going to play 3 games, aside from Chicago, Denver, Houston, New Orleans, Philly, and Utah.
Best streaming days are Tuesday, Thursday and both weekends. While Wednesday and Friday are jam-packed with 12 games each day.
The OKC Thunder have the best schedule with all 3 games scheduled on streamable days. Since JDub is rumored to be limited, Wiggins, Dort, and Caruso are possible top adds from your Free Agent Pools.
On the other hand, NOP and UTA will play both of their games on busy days (Wed and Fri), making them the teams with the worst schedule to start the season.
GSW, IND and MEM have B2B games this week, so monitor if Horford, JJJ and Isaiah Jackson will be available to play both games; if not, Post, Aldama, and Huff could get a major boost in one of those days.
TOP STREAMS:
- Alex Caruso
- Lu Dort
- Aaron Wiggins
- Jay Huff
- Jarace Walker
