The Cleveland Cavaliers (34-5) controlled the fourth quarter and exacted revenge on the Indiana Pacers (22-19) with a decisive 127-117 victory on January 15.

Cleveland Cavaliers Top Performers:

Donovan Mitchell 35 PTS | 9 REB | 2 STL | 54.3 FPS

Mitchell’s offensive game came to life today after four straight games where he scored 19 or less. His 8-for-8 performance from the line was a huge factor.

Evan Mobley 23 PTS | 11 REB | 1 BLK | 41.1 FPS

Mobley sustained his impressive form, nearly hitting four-straight games with 20+ points and 60%+ shooting. He’s also grabbed 10+ rebounds, generated at least one stock, and has been on target from three.

Jarrett Allen 16 PTS | 9 REB | 1 BLK | 34.8 FPS

Allen has been a dominant force on both ends, grabbing 9+ rebounds and at least one block in nine straight games, while also scoring in double digits six times, shooting 66.7% or better.

Darius Garland 24 PTS | 7 AST | 1 STL | 34.7 FPS

DG was cruising with a 50-40-90 shooting split before this game, but he missed a lot of shots today and posted his worst shooting performance from deep and at the line this month. His rising turnover count is also a growing concern.

Caris LeVert 7 PTS | 7 AST | 2 STL | 32.5 FPS

LeVert has shown that he can contribute in multiple categories, but his consistency is becoming an issue. He’s only made one basket in his last two games.

Indiana Pacers Top Performers:

Pascal Siakam 23 PTS | 7 REB | 4 AST | 39.4 FPS

Siakam has been a reliable rebounder, but his offensive game is his strongest, reaching double-digit points in all but one game this season. He’s scored 20+ points in 22 games this season but is yet to crack 30.

Andrew Nembhard 10 PTS | 9 AST | 3 STL | 35.3 FPS

Nembhard has been a steady contributor in rebounds, assists and steals over his last seven games, and with Tyrese Haliburton hampered by a groin injury, Nembhard is primed for a larger role offensively. But he’s yet to build his rhythm and has scored 10 or fewer points in five of his last seven.

Benedict Mathurin 19 PTS | 3 3PT | 4 REB | 29.8 FPS

Mathurin has had a few big productive games this month, including four games with 19+ points and three games with 9+ boards, but he needs to find a way to be more impactful on a regular basis.

TJ McConnell 10 PTS | 8 AST | 1 STL | 26.2 FPS

McConnell has been a steady hand in the assist column, even with inconsistent minutes.

Obi Toppin 10 PTS | 3 REB | 3 AST | 20.1 FPS

Toppin continues to be a factor, scoring double digits in six of his last seven games and consistently contributing stocks despite playing under 20 minutes for three consecutive outings.

Biggest Disappointment of the Game

Myles Turner 17 PTS | 1-4 3PT | 6-6 FT

Turner’s defensive performance continues to be subpar. He only grabbed five rebounds today, and he hasn’t recorded a block in his last two games.
