The Memphis Grizzlies (28-15) staged a furious fourth-quarter rally to overcome the Minnesota Timberwolves (22-21) with a hard-fought 108-106 victory on January 21.

Memphis Grizzlies Top Performers:

Jaren Jackson Jr. 24 PTS | 11 REB | 2 BLK | 44.2 FPS

JJJ started the month on fire but has cooled off lately, with three consecutive games of under 20 points and six or fewer rebounds. His three-point shooting has been a particular issue, but he bounced back today with a solid performance while continuing to impress defensively.

Desmond Bane 22 PTS | 6 REB | 5 AST | 41.7 FPS

Bane has been incredibly consistent for category leagues this month. He’s scored 20+ points in all but one game, shooting above 50%, and hit two or more threes in seven straight games. He’s consistently recorded steals and rebounds, even piling up assists a few times, all while staying perfect from the free-throw line, except for one miss.

Ja Morant 19 PTS | 4 REB | 7 AST | 35.3 FPS

Morant is pushing through a foot injury and has struggled with his percentages despite maintaining his usual numbers. His recent sporadic availability is making it difficult for him to build a consistent rhythm.

Scotty Pippen Jr. 6 PTS | 3 AST | 2 STL | 18.9 FPS

Pippen has been a reliable contributor in his limited minutes, regularly delivering assists and steals without turning the ball over in recent games.

Jaylen Wells 13 PTS | 2 REB | 1 AST | 15.9 FPS

Wells has been a consistent three-point threat, hitting two or more threes in four of his last five games while scoring in double figures.

Minnesota Timberwolves Top Performers:

Anthony Edwards 32 PTS | 3 AST | 1 BLK | 39.3 FPS

Edwards has continued his hot streak, averaging 33 points and nearly 5 threes in his last five games, even against a tough defensive team. He’s likely to sustain his impressive numbers with favorable matchups ahead, along with his turnovers.

Naz Reid 29 PTS | 5-10 3PT | 8 REB | 38.1 FPS

Reid extends his offensive surge, averaging 22.6 points and 5 threes in his last three games, while shooting 58.3% from the field and 62.5% from three. He’s also maintained decent defensive stats throughout the month.

Jalen McDaniels 11 PTS | 12 REB | 2 BLK | 36.9 FPS

McDaniels’ scoring has been up-and-down lately, but he’s still managed to score in double digits in four straight games while maintaining his contributions in rebounds and defensive stats.

Mike Conley 5 PTS | 4 REB | 8 AST | 23.8 FPS

Conley is stepping into a larger role with DiVincenzo sidelined indefinitely and could become a strong asset for threes and assists if he can build his momentum.

Rob Dillingham 15 PTS | 3-4 3PT | 3 REB | 21.6 FPS

Dillingham has earned a spot and impressed in his last three games, with his ability to score and make threes.

Biggest Disappointment of the Game:

Julius Randle 5 PTS | 2-13 FG | 0-7 3PT

Randle’s offense has been awful in two of his last three games, with his three-point shooting way off this month. But he’s finding ways to make an impact, stepping up as a playmaking threat and continuing his steady rebounding in recent games.
