Here are the top performers on April 3 and the stats to highlight their impact.

BEST PLAYER OF THE DAY:

Deni Avdija POR SF 26 PTS | 8 REB | 7 AST | 52.1 FPS (vs. NOP)

The star forward wasn’t as efficient today compared to his previous three outings, but he continued to deliver, scoring at least 20 points for the seventh time in his last nine games while maintaining strong rebound and assist production. He’s currently in the midst of a breakout year, averaging career-best marks in points and assists, and should keep producing at this level toward the end of the season.

BREAKOUT:

Daniss Jenkins DET PG 26 PTS | 5 REB | 8 AST | 43.0 FPS (vs. MIN)

Since taking over as a starter, Jenkins has consistently provided solid production across multiple categories. He kept it going today, leading the team in offense with his second-best scoring output of the year. With Cunningham unavailable, Jenkins should continue to have more strong performances.

SLEEPER:

Draymond Green GSW PF 8 PTS | 9 REB | 9 AST | 42.3 FPS (vs. CLE)

It was another poor offensive showing, but Green more than made up for it with excellent contributions across the board. With all the injuries, Green has emerged as one of the Warriors’ most dependable contributors over the past month and should continue to be so in their next games, though scoring will likely remain an issue.

ELITE ASSET:

Devin Booker PHX SG 22 PTS | 5 REB | 6 AST | 38.0 FPS (vs. CHA)

In his previous two games, Booker was an absolute force on offense. He shot 16-for-24 from the field against the Grizzlies and went 16-for-19 at the line against the Magic, averaging 35 points in those games. While he couldn’t quite sustain that level today, he still scored at least 20 points for the 15th time in his last 16 games. He has also been steady as a playmaker, averaging 6.7 assists over his last seven outings.

CATEGORY SPECIALIST:

Max Strus CLE SF 24 PTS | 6 3PM | 5 REB | 31.0 FPS (vs. GSW)

Strus is finally finding his rhythm from beyond the arc, averaging five three-pointers and scoring 20 points twice over his last four games. With key players struggling lately, the Cavs will need him to maintain this level of production going forward.

PLAYER TO WATCH:

Jrue Holiday POR PG 27 PTS | 5 REB | 9 AST | 45.5 FPS (vs. NOP)

There was a noticeable decline in Holiday’s overall production during a stretch last month, but he is now back on track, scoring at least 27 points for the second straight game. His three-point shooting has been the key to this surge, hitting seven threes in both games and also converting at least three in each of his last five outings. This was the 19th time this year that he has reached the 20-point mark and he should be able to add more before the season ends.

STREAMER:

Dylan Harper SAS SG 19 PTS | 5 AST | 1 STL | 29.9 FPS (vs. LAC)

The rookie guard has quietly put together a solid stretch. He now has seven straight games scoring in double figures, all while staying efficient and productive in multiple areas.

FLOPPER:

Luka Doncic LAL PG 12 PTS | 4 REB | 7 AST | 24.3 FPS (vs. OKC)

Luka had been on a complete tear last month, averaging 37.5 points per game while also racking up rebounds and assists. But he had a really difficult time finding his rhythm today, turning the ball over six times while converting just 1-for-7 from three-point range. To make matters worse, he couldn’t finish the game after appearing to suffer an injury in the third quarter. He’s set to undergo further testing and is also expected to miss some time, which is significant with the postseason approaching.
