The Dallas Mavericks (24-21) stepped up in the clutch and secured a much-needed 121-115 win against the Oklahoma City Thunder (36-8) on January 24.

Dallas Mavericks Top Performers:

PJ Washington 22 PTS | 19 REB | 3 STL | 59.3 FPS

Washington has been a reliable contributor for his position but has taken on a bigger role with Lively sidelined for multiple months. He followed up a 30-point explosion with another strong scoring performance while racking up big rebounds and defensive stats.

Kyrie Irving 24 PTS | 4-8 3PT | 2 STL | 37.6 FPS

Irving has logged around 40 minutes in each of his last four games while staying red-hot on offense. He’s almost averaging 30 points, knocking down 3+ triples per game, and has been nearly flawless at the line, going 24-of-25, with solid contributions in rebounds, assists, and steals.

Spencer Dinwiddie 28 PTS | 11-14 FG | 3 AST | 30.7 FPS

Dinwiddie has been a good streaming option with the injuries to the Mavericks. He’s capable of contributing good numbers in multiple areas, but his consistency remains to be seen.

Daniel Gafford 12 PTS | 5 REB | 1 BLK | 24.0 FPS

Gafford had an injury scare in the first half but was able to return to the game. He’s been on a tear lately, averaging 18.4 points, grabbing 12+ rebounds three times, with strong percentages from the field and the line, and 3.8 stocks per game in his last five.

Olivier-Maxence Prosper 14 PTS | 3 REB | 1 STL | 19.6 FPS

Prosper has been getting more minutes in the last three games and has contributed a few rebounds, but his offensive game hasn’t clicked yet. He’s likely to continue his expanded role while the team deals with injuries.

Oklahoma City Thunder Top Performers:

Jalen Williams 33 PTS | 7 AST | 4 STL | 60.3 FPS

JDub has seen a bit of a struggle with his three-point and free-throw shooting, but he continues his standout production, tallying 5+ assists and 2+ stocks in eight games this month while scoring 17+ points in all but one outing.

Jaylin Williams 12 PTS | 3-4 3PT | 6 REB | 23.2 FPS

Williams has been seeing more court time lately and has delivered double-digit points along with solid contributions in threes, rebounds, and assists over three games, while consistently adding a block to his stat line.

Alex Caruso 8 PTS | 5 AST | 2 STL | 27.1 FPS

Caruso has only logged around 20 minutes per game this month but has been a decent performer in rebounds and assists while remaining a reliable contributor for steals.

Cason Wallace 7 PTS | 7 REB | 2 STL | 20.9 FPS

Wallace has been a decent offensive contributor, but it’s his rebounding and steal numbers that have really stood out. But a head injury he sustained today and the team’s light schedule, with only two games in the next eight days, make him a tough hold in fantasy leagues.

Aaron Wiggins 9 PTS | 3 REB | 1 AST | 13.1 FPS

Wiggins has scored around double digits in his last four games despite his three-point shooting being extremely hit-or-miss.

Biggest Disappointment of the Game:

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 31 PTS | 12-25 FG | 3 TO

SGA has been a powerhouse in scoring and playmaking. Yet, his three-point struggles persist, managing just one make in seven of his last eight games. He’s also been a steady all-around contributor this month, but he turned in a very uncharacteristic performance today, recording just one rebound and zero defensive stats.
