Here are the top performers on February 10 and the stats to highlight their impact.
BEST PLAYER OF THE DAY:
Donovan Mitchell CLE SG 32 PTS | 10 AST | 2 BLK | 58.2 FPS (vs. DEN)
Mitchell has been incredible this month, scoring at least 29 points in his last three games, while also recording at least 9 assists three times. He’s been a force on defense as well, averaging close to 4 stocks.
BREAKOUT:
Maxime Raynaud SAC C 20 PTS | 19 REB | 1 STL | 47.3 FPS (vs. NOP)
It was a career performance for the rookie, who also recorded his third 20-point game and eighth double-double of the year. He has been a steady fixture in the rotation while Sabonis is sidelined and has shown real upside for his position. With the Kings struggling, he is likely to see even more opportunities to deliver throughout the remainder of the season.
SLEEPER:
Pat Spencer GSW PG 17 PTS | 7 AST | 2 STL | 35.1 FPS (vs. MEM)
Spencer has really stepped up for the shorthanded Warriors, averaging 16.0 points, 3.0 threes, 4.5 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.5 steals over his last four games. He should continue to see similar production as long as the minutes are there.
ELITE ASSET:
LeBron James LAL SF 22 PTS | 6 REB | 10 AST | 44.2 FPS (vs. OKC)
The King was his usual productive self again today, finishing with his fifth 20-point outing in six games while also recording his third-consecutive 10-assist performance. With Luka sidelined, he should be able to maintain this level of production.
CATEGORY SPECIALIST:
Nolan Traore BKN PG 13 PTS | 13 AST | 1 BLK | 39.1 FPS (vs. CHI)
Traore has shared backcourt duties with two other rookies this season, but he has separated himself lately with a steady 16.3 points and 8 assists average in his last three games. However, his occasional inconsistency and lack of defensive contributions remain notable downsides.
PLAYER TO WATCH:
Danny Wolf BKN PF 13 PTS | 2 STL | 3 BLK | 37.2 FPS (vs. CHI)
The rookie has been producing lately, logging his third consecutive game with double-digit points and at least six rebounds. He was even more impressive on defense, tallying 5 stocks. Given the Nets’ struggles, he should be primed for a bigger role through the end of the season.
STREAMER:
Paul Reed DET C 12 PTS | 2 STL | 2 BLK | 28.1 FPS (vs. CHA)
The big man has seen increased minutes over his last two games and has delivered. With both Duren and Stewart likely facing suspensions, the Pistons will have to rely on Reed for the time being.
FLOPPER:
DeMar DeRozan SAC SF 8 PTS | 1 REB | 1 AST | 9.7 FPS (vs. NOP)
Over his last three games, DeRozan has averaged just 8.7 points per game while making minimal impact in other areas.
