The Detroit Pistons (43-34) fended off a tough Toronto Raptors (28-50) and clinched their first postseason spot in six years with a 117-105 victory on April 5.

Toronto Raptors Top Performers:

Immanuel Quickley 14 PTS | 8 REB | 8 AST | 36.6 FPS

Quickley had a difficult time on offense today but made up for it in other areas, nearly recording a triple-double. While his inefficiency may persist with him expected to miss more games down the stretch, he still has the ability to put up exceptional numbers for his position.

Jakob Poeltl 10 PTS | 11 REB | 3 BLK | 34.2 FPS

Poeltl has been in and out of the lineup in recent weeks, but he remains a steady double-double threat and an elite contributor on defense whenever he’s available. With him expected to continue missing games, Mogbo and Robinson are in line for increased roles and production.

Jamal Shead 14 PTS | 9 AST | 2 STL | 34.7 FPS

Shead has been an important part of the rotation lately, stepping up with double-digit scoring in four of his last five games while also delivering solid playmaking numbers and steals. He’s a solid option for his position and should be able to maintain his impactful contributions with Quickley in and out of the line-up.

Ja’Kobe Walter 22 PTS | 3 REB | 3 STL | 34.1 FPS

Walter has taken on a larger role in the rotation recently, scoring 17+ points in three of his last four games while also contributing in other areas, particularly with three-pointers and steals. He’s likely to remain productive, with potential for additional upside with Barrett projected to miss more games. The team is also scheduled to play four games in the final week, making him an even stronger candidate for streaming.

Jonathan Mogbo 6 PTS | 8 REB | 1 BLK | 17.6 FPS

Mogbo has been a key part of the rotation lately and has been productive with multiple double-digit scoring games while also contributing good peripherals. With the team resting its key players down the stretch, he should have no trouble maintaining his role—and could be in line for even bigger performances. That said, he’s certainly worth considering, particularly in deeper formats.

Detroit Pistons Top Performers:

Jalen Duren 21 PTS | 18 REB | 4 BLK | 66.6 FPS

Duren was nothing short of dominant, stuffing the stat sheet across many areas. He was nearly unstoppable from the field, shooting an impressive 9-for-11 to notch his eighth straight game in double figures. He also secured his fourth consecutive double-digit rebounding performance, while adding five stocks and flashing a rare playmaking brilliance. With the way he’s been playing, he’s poised to close out the season on a high note.

Ausar Thompson 15 PTS | 7 REB | 3 STL | 44.4 FPS

Thompson has stepped into a larger offensive role in the absence of Cunningham and Harris, making the most out of it with a strong stretch of performances. Over his last five games, he’s consistently reached double figures in scoring and paired it with solid rebounding efforts. On defense, he remained sharp as usual, racking up stocks in four of his last five. With momentum on his side, he should be able to finish the week strong in their back-to-back game against the Grizzlies.

Malik Beasley 21 PTS | 3 3PM | 4 REB | 31.8 FPS

Beasley returned to the starting lineup today with Harris sidelined again. He’s not as effective on offense lately but still scored in double-digits for the tenth-consecutive game and hit 3+ three-pointers in nine of his last ten outings. However, he’s not a priority add at the moment, with the team playing just one game over the next four days to open the final week.

Tim Hardaway Jr. 23 PTS | 5 3PM | 3 REB | 27.6 FPS

Hardaway has been playing at a high level lately, averaging close to 25 points with strong numbers across all shooting areas in his last four games. However, sustaining this performance could be a challenge with a tough slate of matchups looming in the final week.

Marcus Sasser 10 PTS | 4 REB | 1 STL | 15.3 FPS

Sasser returned from a one-game suspension but continues to see limited minutes off the bench. He’s shown flashes of scoring upside, including a pair of recent 20-point outings, but replicating that production will depend heavily on whether he earns increased playing time down the stretch.

Biggest Disappointment of the Game:

Dennis Schroder 16 PTS | 4 REB | 7 AST

Schroder has been on an offensive slump lately, shooting around 35% or worse in his last six games, including a brutal 4-for-27 from three-point range. Despite the inefficiency, he’s remained productive—scoring in double figures in five of those games while contributing solid rebounding and playmaking numbers. That said, Schroder should maintain his starting position and stay productive as long as Cunningham remains unavailable.
