The Houston Rockets (42-25) added another emphatic win to their streak, with a dominant 133-96 rout of the Dallas Mavericks (33-35) on March 15.

Houston Rockets Top Performers:

Tari Eason 30 PTS | 8 REB | 2 BLK | 50.6 FPS

Eason delivered a season-high performance in points with a highly  efficient performance across all shooting areas. Beyond scoring, he has continued to excel as a rebounder and a defensive stalwart, recording 14 stocks in four of his last five games. However, his consistency and availability have remained major concerns this season.

Jalen Green 23 PTS | 9 REB | 5 AST | 48.3 FPS

Green struggled through a five-game slump earlier this month but has bounced back with consecutive 20-point outings while maintaining solid rebounding and playmaking numbers. He recently went 10-for-11 from the line, though that efficiency is unlikely to hold and may cap his scoring upside. Still, his growing all-around game continues to boost his fantasy value.

Alperen Sengun 16 PTS | 15 REB | 4 AST | 41.0 FPS

Sengun opened the month with a strong scoring run, posting four straight 20+ point games, including a 30-point effort. While his scoring has dipped twice in recent outings, he offset it with dominant rebounding performances. He’s also averaging better playmaking numbers this month, a trend that should continue with Thompson sidelined and VanVleet struggling. However, turnovers and free-throw inefficiency remain glaring weaknesses.

Jabari Smith Jr. 13 PTS | 8 REB | 2 BLK | 29.6 FPS

Smith has scored in double digits in six of his last seven games but has struggled from deep in his past two outings. Still, he continues to provide solid rebounding and defensive contributions and should remain a strong bench piece with Thompson sidelined.

Fred Vanvleet 8 PTS | 7 REB | 3 AST | 23.9 FPS

VanVleet has looked rusty in his two games since returning from a 15-game absence due to an ankle injury. He’s expected to sit out tomorrow’s back-to-back, but a favorable schedule afterward should give him a chance to regain his rhythm.

Dallas Mavericks Top Performers:

Naji Marshall 21 PTS | 5 REB | 3 AST | 36.5 FPS

Marshall has taken on a more prominent role in the offense with the team’s many injuries and emerged as their best player by far. Over the last seven games, he’s averaged 23 points while delivering strong performances from the field and the line. He also excels in rebounds and steals while also showing potential as a playmaker. That said, he should continue to play a significant role for the team for the rest of the season and should remain highly valuable.

Brandon Williams 25 PTS | 11-14 FG | 5 REB | 34.8 FPS

Williams has been a bright spot for the team despite their injury troubles. Though he recently missed a game with a hamstring problem, he’s been steady in his new role, scoring efficiently and contributing across the board while keeping his turnovers low. His role should also remain secure with another teammate sidelined. However, he might not be worth adding just yet, given the uncertainty around his contract and the team’s limited schedule at the moment.

Spencer Dinwiddie 20 PTS | 3 REB | 3 AST | 25.6 FPS

Dinwiddie took some time to adjust to his new role but has been thriving in his last three games. He’s now averaging 20 points on efficient shooting while also making an impact in other areas, particularly in playmaking and steals. Additionally, he’s expected to take on an even bigger role with Exum getting injured.

Kessler Edwards 12 PTS | 6 REB | 4 BLK | 33.2 FPS

Edwards has taken on a bigger role amid the team’s injuries, emerging as a strong two-way player. He’s scored in double digits in five straight games, including a 20-point double-double, while also making an impact defensively. With the team severely undermanned, his role should remain steady. However, he’s not an immediate pickup, as the team has just one game left this week and only two in Week 20.

Klay Thompson 5 PTS | 9 REB | 3 AST | 19.3 FPS

Thompson has been a reliable scorer in recent weeks, reaching double digits in six of his last seven games, including three outings with 25+ points. However, he continues to struggle against the league’s top defensive teams, shooting a dismal 2-for-16 from the field today—his fourth such game this season. Despite this, his fantasy upside remains high with the team severely shorthanded.

Biggest Disappointment of the Game:

Max Christie 2 PTS | 1-13 FG | 4 REB

Christie has been in a terrible shooting slump this month, leading to a noticeable drop in his scoring. While he’s maintained modest contributions in three major categories, his overall production remains underwhelming for someone expected to be a major option amid the team’s situation.
