The Phoenix Suns (19-19) stepped up in the clutch and pulled out a 120-113 victory over the Charlotte Hornets (8-28) on January 13.

Phoenix Suns Top Performers:

Devin Booker 30 PTS | 8 REB | 3 STL | 56.0 FPS

Booker has been racking up big numbers lately, hitting 5 threes in each of his last two, dropping 30+ points three times in his last four, and recording double-digit assists in a three-game stretch.

Kevin Durant 27 PTS | 8 REB | 5 AST | 46.1 FPS

KD has been on a tear, consistently putting up 23+ points in 13-straight outings, along with solid rebounds and assists. He could take his game to the next level if he regains his range from three.

Ryan Dunn 11 PTS | 6 REB | 1 STL | 24.2 FPS

Dunn has been a decent starter, scoring in double digits in four of his last six games. He’s also a good rebounder and can contribute threes and blocks.

Oso Ighodaro 10 PTS | 6 REB | 1 BLK | 22.2 FPS

Ighodaro should continue getting extended minutes until Nurkic gets traded. He’s getting a handful of rebounds and generating stocks in recent games.

Grayson Allen 13 PTS | 1 REB | 2 STL | 20.2 FPS

Allen was on a hot streak, knocking down 3+ three-pointers in three consecutive games, but an injury he sustained in the game could sideline him for some time.

Charlotte Hornets Top Performers:

LaMelo Ball 25 PTS | 11 AST | 3 STL | 56.7 FPS

Ball is a major part of the team’s offense, averaging 24.5 field goal attempts and 13.16 three-point attempts per game and  is expected to consistently deliver big numbers. He’s also capable of racking up rebounds and assists, and his recent steals have been very impressive.

Mark Williams 24 PTS | 16 REB | 4 AST | 50.2 FPS

Williams was nearly unstoppable in the first half, recording 22 points and 13 rebounds. He’s also performing really well lately with his efficient scoring and consistent rebounding.

Brandon Miller 19 PTS | 4 REB | 6 AST | 31.8 FPS

Miller’s return from an ankle sprain hasn’t gone smoothly. He’s yet to find efficiency from the field and his overall contributions haven’t reached expectations, but he should find his stride soon.

Miles Bridges 21 PTS | 5 REB | 5 AST | 32.5 FPS

Bridges has been a steady offensive force, scoring under 19 points just once in his last eight games, even as his three-point shot has cooled off. His ability to pile up big numbers across multiple categories keeps him a constant threat on the floor.

Cody Martin 5 PTS | 3 REB | 2 STL | 15.1 FPS

Martin’s scoring might be down, but he remains a decent contributor in multiple categories.

Biggest Disappointment of the Game:

Bradley Beal 15 PTS | 5-12 FG | 6 AST

Beal’s performance has been up and down since moving to the bench, but he’s still a major part of their offense and should still put up bigger performances if he finds ways to be more efficient.
