The Golden State Warriors (36-28) keep on rolling, securing their ninth win in their last ten games with a hard-fought 115-110 victory over the Detroit Pistons (35-29) on March 9.
Golden State Warriors Top Performers:
Draymond Green 12 PTS | 9 REB | 7 AST | 41.3 FPS
Green’s scoring output has seen a decline in recent games with his lower offensive usage. But he continues to contribute strongly across the board despite dealing with foul trouble.
Stephen Curry 32 PTS | 12-12 FT | 4 AST | 40.6 FPS
Curry knocked down four threes today and is now just seven three-pointers away from becoming the first player in NBA history to reach 4,000. He had his worst shooting performance since last month but has been highly productive at the line lately and scored 30+ points for the eighth time in his last 15 games. He opened the week with elite playmaking numbers but has trended downward as turnovers climb. His overall output has also seen a decline but he should turn things around soon.
Jimmy Butler 26 PTS | 9 REB | 5 AST | 40.3 FPS
Butler has been steady on offense, averaging 23 points on 50% shooting while staying productive at the line over his last three games. He’s also maintained a good average in rebounds and assists and should sustain his production with a manageable schedule ahead.
Moses Moody 12 PTS | 7 REB | 3 STL | 31.9 FPS
Moody has been a mainstay in the starting lineup lately but hasn’t made a significant impact, producing just modest scoring and rebounding in recent games.
Gui Santos 15 PTS | 6 REB | 1 BLK | 26.7 FPS
Santos is capable of contributing in multiple areas, particularly on the defensive end, but inconsistent minutes continue to limit his fantasy output. His current role is also likely to diminish with Kuminga nearing a return.
Detroit Pistons Top Performers:
Cade Cunningham 31 PTS | 5 AST | 2 BLK | 46.3 FPS
Cunningham has been efficient from the field despite his heavy volume and continues to be reliable at the line to average 30+ points over his last three games. He remains an excellent playmaker and a strong defensive contributor, but his turnovers and limited three-point production remain major weaknesses.
Malik Beasley 17 PTS | 4 STL | 1 BLK | 34.9 FPS
Beasley has struggled offensively lately but has still managed to score around 15 points over his last five games. However, he hasn’t been able to sustain his streak of at least 3 made three-pointers in his last 12 games. His contributions in other areas have also been underwhelming, with his four steals being the lone bright spot.
Jalen Duren 13 PTS | 13 REB | 1 STL | 33.6 FPS
Duren started the month with dominant numbers in category leagues, posting highly efficient numbers from the field and at the line while also delivering double figures in points and rebounds, along with 14 stocks in two games. Though his defensive production has cooled off since, he remains a reliable double-double threat, recording his 10th since last month.
Tobias Harris 15 PTS | 7-8 FT | 12 REB | 31.4 FPS
Harris returned from a two-game absence and remains a double-double threat. However, with his limited offensive role, he’s capped at around 20 points at best, though he hasn’t reached that mark in his last four games despite performing strongly from the field in the first two and from the line in the last two. His overall output has been lacking lately, and his rebounding is also expected to decline. That said, a very favorable schedule ahead could help him put up better numbers.
Dennis Schroder 11 PTS | 4 AST | 2 STL | 21.0 FPS
Schroder knocked down five threes and scored 21 points in his last game, his best scoring performance since joining the team, though he’s not likely to do it consistently. However, his role continues to grow and he should remain a valuable contributor across many areas.
Biggest Disappointment of the Game:
Buddy Hield 8 PTS | 1-5 3PT | 4 REB
Hield was a productive scorer in a recent two-game stretch but has struggled since. He started the season hot but has been highly inconsistent. He might not be worth rostering, unless you really need three-pointers.
