The Golden State Warriors (41-29) were pushed to the limit by the Toronto Raptors (24-46), but a strong finish in the fourth quarter led them to a 117-114 victory on March 21.

Golden State Warriors Top Performers:

Jimmy Butler 16 PTS | 11 REB | 12 AST | 57.2 FPS

Butler had his toughest shooting performance of the month but redeemed himself with an impressive and well-rounded stat line, highlighted by his second triple-double. He’s expected to take over as the main scoring option with Curry sidelined and sustain his high level of production.

Draymond Green 21 PTS | 7 REB | 4 STL | 44.9 FPS

Green got off to a strong start in the first half, scoring 18 points and knocking down 4 three-pointers after going 1-for-11 from three in his previous games. He couldn’t maintain his offensive momentum in the second half but remained incredible on defense once again. He’s been a clear candidate for the DPOY award, averaging 2 steals and 1 block per game over the last two months.

Jonathan Kuminga 16 PTS | 3 AST | 2 STL | 29.3 FPS

Kuminga has been under a minutes restriction since returning but has remained impactful, scoring in double digits in five-consecutive games. He also shot better today after his recent struggles and should build on this with a favorable schedule ahead.

Quinten Post 18 PTS | 6 3PM | 1 BLK | 26.4 FPS

Post has been shooting the lights out from deep recently, totaling 10 threes in his last two games, though he hasn’t been as effective in other areas. However, with Curry potentially out, Post is expected to return to the starting lineup, where he should be able to boost his overall production, particularly in rebounding.

Stephen Curry 17 PTS | 1 AST | 1 BLK | 20.9 FPS

Curry was having a strong shooting performance today until he took a nasty fall in the third quarter and was unable to come back. It’s unclear how long he’ll be out, but missing a couple of games seems possible. That said, Hield should see increased minutes and Podziemski’s usage is expected to grow.

Toronto Raptors Top Performers:

Scottie Barnes 29 PTS | 10 REB | 6 AST | 50.0 FPS

Barnes’ hasn’t been as sharp in offense this month but his output has stayed solid despite the team’s deliberate losses. Given the manageable schedule ahead, he should continue to perform at an elite level.

Immanuel Quickley 21 PTS | 8 AST | 3 STL | 41.8 FPS

Quickley’s fantasy upside has been limited by his inconsistent availability and the team’s intentional losses. Despite this, he’s still posting encouraging numbers, scoring 15 or more points, including a 30-point outburst, while also contributing solid rebounds and assists in seven games this month.

Jakob Poeltl 18 PTS | 8 REB | 2 BLK | 34.6 FPS

Poeltl has been in and out of the lineup recently but continues to excel in every appearance, recording 16+ points in five games while consistently putting up solid rebounds and stocks this month. However, he’s likely to continue missing games, which should give Castleton more opportunities to deliver.

Jamal Shead 11 PTS | 4 REB | 6 AST | 22.8 FPS

Shead has been thrust into a larger role recently due to injuries and with Quickley missing games. He’s a capable playmaker and a decent scorer, though consistency remains a work in progress. With back-to-back games ahead, he’s poised for even more opportunities.

Jamison Battle 14 PTS | 4 3PM | 1 STL | 21.4 FPS

Battle has played a significant role in the team’s rotation over the past five games amid injuries. He’s a decent shooter, reaching double digits three times and hitting three or more three-pointers in four games. He should continue to contribute, though primarily when Barrett is unavailable.

Biggest Disappointment of the Game:

Moses Moody 4 PTS | 2 STL | 1 BLK

Moody was on a roll, scoring around 20 points in each of his recent three-game stretch, but has only managed a total of 21 points in the three games since. However, his defensive efforts have helped offset the drop in scoring, and even with the struggles, he remains a starter and should still be held.
