The Minnesota Timberwolves (45-32) powered through the Brooklyn Nets (25-52) and grabbed an important 105-90 win on April 4.

Brooklyn Nets Top Performers:

Nic Claxton 18 PTS | 6 REB | 5 AST | 37.7 FPS

Claxton got back on track today with a strong performance, shooting 9-for-10 from the field after a lackluster showing in their win over the Mavericks. However, he is expected to miss more games as the season winds down, making Timme a more intriguing option to consider moving forward.

Tosan Evbuomwan 13 PTS | 8 REB | 3 AST | 29.1 FPS

Tosan has been a consistent part of the lineup since January and had some good scoring performances while also contributing in rebounding and defense. He’s a candidate to see increased minutes in the rotation down the stretch and could be worth a look in deeper formats. But it’s best to monitor him for now.

Dariq Whitehead 17 PTS | 5 3PM | 3 REB | 22.1 FPS

Whitehead has played a minimal role off the bench over his last three games but saw a bigger role today with multiple players unavailable and delivered a strong showing on offense. Despite that, Martin remains the more reliable fantasy option even though his role has been somewhat inconsistent.

Trendon Watford 11 PTS | 5 REB | 5 AST | 21.5 FPS

Watford was moved into the starting lineup and made the most of it, snapping a four-game slump while also contributing modest peripherals. He should maintain a steady role in the rotation down the stretch and remain productive, even if he returns to the bench.

Maxwell Lewis 10 PTS | 6 REB | 2 AST | 19.2 FPS

Lewis stepped in as the starter with several key players sidelined and turned in a decent performance. He should also see more opportunities at some point. However, Wilson continues to be the more dependable fantasy option for his position.

Minnesota Timberwolves Top Performers:

Rudy Gobert 21 PTS | 18 REB | 2 BLK | 50.1 FPS

Gobert posted another dominant double-double, marking his sixth straight game reaching that mark. Though his inefficient free-throw shooting has put a damper in his consistent production. His fantasy value also remains somewhat limited by his narrow stat profile, with most of his contributions coming in traditional big-man categories.

Anthony Edwards 28 PTS | 5 3PM | 5 REB | 45.5 FPS

Edwards left the game in the second quarter due to an apparent ankle injury but came back in the second half, finishing with an elite performance. He’s been having these problems recently—including taking an elbow to the face from Kevin Durant in their recent win over the Suns—but he’s continued to power through. He’s now scored 25+ points in three straight games, backed by solid shooting production, helping his team win their fourth straight and tie the Grizzlies for the sixth seed. While minor concerns remain—such as some inefficiency from the line and turnovers—he offset those with a good all-around performance and a stronger defensive showing. With favorable matchups ahead, he should be able to keep his momentum rolling and help his team secure a better playoff position.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker 13 PTS | 5 AST | 3 BLK | 36.3 FPS

NAW has been a reliable role player off the bench, making subtle but meaningful contributions in multiple categories over the past month, but he’s elevated his play in the first two games of this month, delivering solid shooting productions along with strong peripheral and defensive stats. However, sustaining this level of production may be challenging given the team’s depth, but he remains worth considering—particularly in deeper formats.

Jaden McDaniels 8 PTS | 4 REB | 2 BLK | 23.8 FPS

McDaniels’ shooting struggles have become increasingly difficult to overlook, with a highly erratic scoring output punctuated by a 9-for-29 performance from the field over his last three games. To make matters worse, his contributions in other categories have also seen a clear decline. Despite that, he continues to be a dependable option on the defensive end and remains an important part of the rotation.

Julius Randle 11 PTS | 8 REB | 4 AST | 22.6 FPS

Randle had been on a strong run, posting 25+ points and solid peripherals in his last three outings. However, he struggled to maintain that momentum with a brutal scoring performance, compounded by foul and turnover problems. Still, with the team pushing hard for a better playoff spot, he’ll remain a key part of the puzzle and should keep putting in the work.

Biggest Disappointment of the Game:

Donte DiVincenzo 2 PTS | 2 AST | 2 STL

DiVincenzo made his return today after serving a one-game suspension but continues to struggle offensively, recording his third single-digit scoring game in his last four outings. Still, he remained productive with contributions across the board, particularly on the defensive end—even though he hasn’t been as effective in those areas lately. Despite the downturn, he remains a crucial bench piece and should still be able to provide valuable production in the coming games.
