The Minnesota Timberwolves (18-17) overcame a 19-point deficit and ended a three-game skid with a 108-106 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers (20-16) on January 7.

Minnesota Timberwolves Top Performers:

Anthony Edwards 37 PTS | 7 REB | 8 AST | 58.4 FPS

Edwards has been absolutely explosive, putting up 90 points in his last two games after a rough stretch where he struggled to reach 20 points in five of his previous eight games. His three-point shooting has been a significant factor, as he made 16 threes in his last two games, matching his total from his previous six games.

Naz Reid 18 PTS | 7 REB | 2 BLK | 38.9 FPS

Reid marked the third time he’s achieved a full stat line in his last five games. He has also been a strong scorer lately, hitting 18+ points in three of his last four games despite being off from three.

Rudy Gobert 8 PTS | 18 REB | 1 BLK | 33.6 FPS

Gobert has managed double-digit rebounds just twice in his last six games, though his block numbers have stayed steady.

Jaden McDaniels 11 PTS | 3 3PT | 2 STL | 25.4 FPS

McDaniels has made a noticeable improvement offensively in recent games and he was even perfect from three today.

Donte DiVincenzo 15 PTS | 3 3PT | 9 REB | 25.3 FPS

DiVincenzo has earned a starting spot and has been playing steady minutes, reaching the 25-minute mark in seven straight games. But he’s yet to find consistency on offense.

Los Angeles Clippers Top Performers:

Ivica Zubac 17 PTS | 16 REB | 6 BLK | 58.2 FPS

Zubac has been a force lately, racking up big numbers both offensively and on the boards. He’s grabbed 15+ rebounds in six of his last nine games. He can also pile up stocks, but he needs to deliver on a more consistent basis.

James Harden 22 PTS | 8 REB | 8 AST | 51.6 FPS

Harden has maintained his all-around brilliance since returning from a groin injury but has yet to regain offensive efficiency.

Norman Powell 25 PTS | 6 REB | 1 STL | 33.7 FPS

Powell has scored 20+ points in back-to-back games, despite struggling from three-point range in his last six games.

Kevin Porter Jr. 7 PTS | 6 REB | 7 AST | 25.7 FPS

Porter has failed to reach the 20-minute mark in four of his last five games, but he remains a capable offensive contributor, with reliable assist numbers.

Kawhi Leonard 8 PTS | 2 REB | 1 STL | 15.4 FPS

Kawhi was incredibly impressive in the first quarter but then disappeared for the rest of the game.

Biggest Disappointment of the Game:

Julius Randle 5 PTS | 2-10 FG | 3 TO

Randle had a rare off night, breaking his streak of consistent double-digit scoring. He has been a dominant scorer this season, reaching 20+ points in twenty games.
