The Minnesota Timberwolves (29-23) mounted a strong fourth-quarter attack and overcame the Houston Rockets (32-19) with a 127-114 victory on February 7.

Minnesota Timberwolves Top Performers:

Anthony Edwards 41 PTS | 7 REB | 6 AST | 57.4 FPS

ANT hasn’t been at his most efficient this month, but his 14-for-15 and 17-for-18 performances at the line in his last two games helped him reach back-to-back 40-point performances. He’s also consistently thrived from long-range while contributing reliably across four major stats.

Naz Reid 15 PTS | 11 REB | 2 STL | 44.2 FPS

Reid has taken his game to the next level with Randle sidelined, putting up strong numbers in his last three games and looking well-positioned to continue producing while Randle remains sidelined for at least two more weeks. His offense was a bit off today, but his defensive numbers remained impressive.

Mike Conley 16 PTS | 4-4 3PT | 5 AST | 32.1 FPS

Conley has been a fixture in the starting lineup, capable of making plays and occasionally putting up strong scoring numbers. But he’s more of a role player than an asset, so it’s best not to expect more from him.

Rudy Gobert 13 PTS | 10 REB | 1 BLK | 26.0 FPS

Gobert was highly inconsistent in previous weeks but has stepped up with Randle sidelined, notching four straight double-doubles with strong shooting from the field and elite defensive stats this month. But a challenging schedule ahead should be a good indicator of his future performances.

Jaylen Clark 17 PTS | 4-6 3PT | 3 REB | 22.1 FPS

Clark has seen an increase in his minutes lately and has shown promise on the offensive end.

Houston Rockets Top Performers:

Jalen Green 28 PTS | 6 REB | 5 AST | 44.7 FPS

Green continues to be the primary offensive option for the team and has notched 20+ points in three of his last four games with decent rebounds and assists. But his efficiency remains a weakness.

Alperen Sengun 16 PTS | 10 REB | 7 AST | 42.5 FPS

Sengun has been impressive in his return, posting a 20-20 stat line in his last game and was already on triple-double watch in the first half before slowing down in the second. He’s a steady double-double threat, but his playmaking and defense have been inconsistent lately. He is, however, expected to miss a game this week.

Tari Eason 10 PTS | 5 STL | 3 BLK | 39.8 FPS

Eason has been an efficient scorer and consistent rebounder this week and is steadily returning to his defensive form. With VanVleet sidelined, he’s in a great spot to keep producing, but a lingering injury puts his availability in doubt.

Amen Thompson 16 PTS | 5 AST | 2 BLK | 35.1 FPS

Thompson has been a do-it-all force since moving to the starting lineup and should keep thriving with the team shorthanded. He’s shooting quite well from the field lately, though his scoring output has been inconsistent.

Reed Sheppard 3 PTS | 2 STL | 1 BLK | 14.4 FPS

Sheppard offers more offensively but has made a strong defensive impact this month despite limited minutes.

Biggest Disappointment of the Game:

Jaden McDaniels 12 PTS | 6-15 FG | 3 TO

McDaniels began the month with strong contributions on both ends of the floor but struggled significantly on offense today, with his defensive numbers also showing a decline.
