The Phoenix Suns (11-8) clinched a 113-105 victory over the Golden State Warriors (12-7) on December 1, with a dominant performance from beyond the arc.

The Suns relied on a team-wide scoring effort, with five players hitting at least 3 three-pointers. Devin Booker led the way with 27 points and 9 assists. Tyus Jones was very efficient, scoring 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the field and adding 9 assists while Grayson Allen contributed 17 points. Kevin Durant had a rough shooting night, going 7-for-20, but still managed to put up 21 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks.

The Warriors were a far cry from their usual sharpshooting selves today. They shot a miserable 14-for-40 from three-point range, extending their losing streak to four games. Stephen Curry returned from a knee injury but looked a little rusty and was held to just 2 points in the first half. He still finished with 23 points and 7 rebounds. Draymond Green added 13 points and 7 assists. Brandin Podziemski contributed 12 points and 7 rebounds, while Andrew Wiggins chipped in with 18 points.

Booker and Jones Ignited Suns’ Scorching Offense

The opening was a firestorm, with both teams trading three-pointers, but Phoenix closed the first on a 13-6 surge to seize control. The Suns sustained their momentum into the second, extending their lead to as much as 17 points.

Curry shook off his slump in the third, erupting for 15 points to help cut the margin to 7. The fourth was a back-and-forth affair, but Jones stepped up big time, leading a 7-0 run that restored the Suns’ lead to 17 points. The Warriors refused to give in and unleashed a 17-5 fightback to pull within (105-99). But Durant came through with a clutch triple and the Suns held on for the win.
